In addition to cork, CORQE uses Cordura EcoMade fibers. Cordura is an industry leader, known for their premium quality, ultra-durable fabrics with superior strength. CORQE uses EcoMade as a reclaimed alternative to artificial nylon, made from 100% recycled materials, including plastic bottles.

Dirk Delfortrie, a seasoned PGA golf professional since 1993,

gained experience by working for various companies, including

the worlds largest golf manufacturer in Carlsbad, CA, the finest

golf resort in Scotland, and alongside the #1 teacher in the world.

Throughout his career, Dirk’s passion is evident in his coaching,

getting the most out of each student, by following their

progress, and being dedicated to their success. With that same

passion, Dirk started CORQE, to offer high- performance

products with a difference.

Joachim Delfortrie, an international business consultant,

has lived and worked in Europe, Brazil and USA. While traveling

the world, he noticed the abundance of disposable, toxic,

non-biodegradable sports products, with no alternative

solutions offered. As an environmentalist, sport lover and avid

golfer, Joachim saw an opportunity and started CORQE.

Now joined together in CORQE, Dirk and Joachim live and work in Portugal. Portugal, the cork country of the world!
