What are IndicAgro indicators?
A management tool for Farming Enterprises to help themintroduce Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability
(CSR&S) into their business strategies.
Why did we decide to move forwardwith this initiative?
In order to support and facilitate the adoption,measurement and management of sustainability
actions into the farming through an innovative tool, given the comprehensiveness and variety of its
dimensions. It is a tailor –made system, speciallydesigned for the agri activities

Methodology
Divided into 7 dimensions, according to the publicswho are watching the farm company:
Values: transparency and management
Decent work and employment practices
Sustainability of farming practices (Good agricultural practices)
Relationship with suppliers
Relationship with customers and other farmers
Relationship with local communities
Relationship with the Government and society
An online software (web platform) , which is a self-assess-ment tool making it possible to determine, measure and compare to what extent CSR&S has been introduced into each business dimension.

We aimed to create a flexible tool in pursuit of making it easily adaptable to every organization, regardless of its size. Each company can apply the amount of indi-cators they consider more suited to their own reality.
For each indicator, there are four levels of fulfilment that are related to the development of the farming company practices. The first tier is the basic level and ensures compliance with the existing law, whereas the four stage represents the excellence and recognizes a true leadership in the practice of CSR&S. There are two fulfilment levels in between.
What do we mean by a “responsible andsustainability-oriented farming enterprise”?
A firm whose production and sales have been organized so as to reduce the consumption of natural assets and
ecosystem services, with a view to attainingcompetitiveness and its own business continuity without
compromising society’s sustainable development.
