MFPC FINANCIAL PLANNING WORKSHOPMFPC and Premier Group have been actively organizing the 2-days Financial Planning Workshop to the public and undergraduates for the last 4 years. The 2-days Financial Planning Workshops has been attended by about 5,000 undergraduates and about 3,500 public participants. Some of the public participants include Unit Trust and Insurance agents, INTAN trainees, PULAPOL police trainee and many teachers and government officers.

The noble objectives of the workshops as follows:·To promote financial planning education to all Malaysians;·To provide a platform for practical experience; to understand and to assess individual financial status;·To provide an avenue for information sharing and exchange; and ·To embrace professional practice of RFP to contribute and participate in public education.

Role of MFPC:·To serve as the national body responsible for unifying financial planning practices and strengthening the accountability, conformance to laws, regulations and ethics in the profession.·To serve as the central channel for the development, advancement and representation of financial planning professionals, practitioners and financial services providers.·To serve as the certification body for setting technical competency, practice and examination standards for those in the financial planning profession.·To serve as the self-regulatory body that provides and enforces a code of ethics and compliance requirements to ensure the public is served professionally.·To promote awareness to the public on the value and importance of financial planning.
