CORPORATE BACKGROUND
Incorporated on 15 January 1993, PMB Investment Berhad (PMB Investment) is a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Pelaburan MARA Berhad (PMB), formerly known as
ASM Investment Services Berhad. PMB Investment has over three decades of
experience in managing unit trust funds and is a pioneer in the industry.
PMB Investment has a paid-up capital of RM5.0 million and as at 31 March 2014, its
shareholders’ funds stood at RM10.9 million.
PMB Investment is licensed by the Securities Commission Malaysia to offer funds
management services and also to be involved in regulated activities of unit trusts.
As at 31 March 2014, total funds under management stood at RM504 million,
comprising RM323 million unit trust funds and RM181 million portfolio mandates.

• Ameer Ali bin Mohamed - Chief Executive Officer / Chief Investment Officer
Encik Ameer Ali bin Mohamed joined PMB Investment Berhad as its Chief Executive / Chief InvestmentOfficer on 2 April 2012. He has more than 20 years of experience in the capital markets, having enteredinto the securities industry in December 1990 as an investment analyst. He had held positions in researchanalysis and portfolio management including as Fund Manager of then Arab-Malaysian Unit Trusts Berhad;Senior Manager of Affin Fund Management Sdn Bhd; Head of Investment – External Clients for MaybanInvestment Management Sdn Bhd before entrusted to establish and head its Business DevelopmentDepartment; Chief Executive Officer / Chief Investment Officer of OSK Asset Management Sdn Bhd andHead of Research of JF Apex Securities Bhd. Prior to joining PMB Investment, he was the Chief ExecutiveOfficer / Managing Director of Amanah Saham Kedah Bhd. Among others, he was the second-man in a
team that was involved in the development of Malaysia’s first privately managed Islamic equity unit trustfund that was launched in early 1993. En Ameer was the first batch graduate of BBA (Hons) degree fromthe International Islamic University Malaysia, where he completed in 1988 with second class upper honors.He started as a financial journalist with the Business Times before entering into the securities industry. Heis the holder of a Capital Market Services Representative Licence (fund management)
• Isnami bin Ahmad Mohtar – Head of EquityIsnami bin Ahmad Mohtar is the Head of Equity. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration(Finance) from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA. He has more than 15 years of workingexperience in the fund management industry. The experience started in 1996 when he was appointed a
Senior Investment Officer at ASM Mara Unit Trust Management Berhad to manage a small number ofBumiputera funds. He was appointed as the Portfolio Manager in 2000 and was given biggerresponsibilities to manage Syariah and conventional unit trusts and corporate funds. He was made theSenior Manager, Fund Management in 2003. He joined Inter-Pacific Asset Management in August 2007 as aFund Manager, managing all unit trust and corporate fund managed by the company. He obtained hisCMSRL from SC in 2001.

• Marina binti Ghazali – Head of Marketing
Marina is the Head of Marketing. She holds a degree in Mass Communication, Universiti TeknologiMara (UITM). She has more than 25 years of experience in marketing communication includingpublic relations, advertising and promotion. Currently, Puan Marina manages the functions ofinvestor relation, agency management and development, advertising and promotion. Prior to joiningPMB Investment, she was attached to Pelaburan MARA Berhad as the Head of Human ResourceDevelopment and Corporate Communication. Puan Marina was also with Park May Berhad (1995 – 1997) and a government agency (1988 – 1994).
• Isnaliyah binti Sarwadi – Head of Portfolio Solutions
Isnaliyah binti Sarwadi is the Head of Portfolio Solutions. She assumed the current post in November2010. She has 10 years experience in the financial industry ranging from Market and FinancialResearch, Business Development, Corporate Client Sales & Marketing. She graduated fromUniversity of Essex, Colchester, United Kingdom with BSc (Hons) Information Management withAccounting. She has held a Capital Markets Services Representative License from the SC since 2008.

1. Unit Trust Funds – we manage 14 Islamic unit trust funds (in-house). They
include equity, index, balanced, money market and capital protected funds.
2. Corporate Funds – we design custom made portfolios tailored to the
specific needs and risk appetite of investors.
3. Institutional Unit Trust Adviser (IUTA) – we are also the licensed distributor
for third party funds.
