John Hardy’s origins began in Bali, where our jewelry was first handcrafted by an artisan collective in 1975. Today, all of our jewelry is still handmade, using reclaimed metals and ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones.
The master artisans behind our brand honor original craft through the perfection of modern design, creating timeless one-of-a-kind pieces that are brilliantly alive.

ARTISANSHIPTime-honored Balinese artisan techniques define our brand legacy. From original sketch to
final polishing, every part of the John Hardy jewelry-making process is completed by hand by trained artisans who have maintained and perfected their craft for generations.
SUSTAINABILITYOur brand was founded upon and remains dedicated to sustainable luxury business practices — from the materials we use to the construction and operation of our Balinese workshop. For
over 40 years, our artisans have used reclaimed silver and gold, as well as exclusively employed vetted suppliers to ensure both diamonds and gemstones conform to our high
ethical standards.

What We CraftFrom inception to completion, each piece is imbued,
step by step with the touch and passion of our artisans. Our lauded eight-step creation process
employs exquisite handcraftsmanship from inspiration and sketch, to wax carving and casting, through to polishing and assembly. At last, intricate details are

Bamboo, Plant Bamboo” initiative ensures the planting of bamboo seedlings throughout Indonesia with each Bamboo
