CSEP PARTNERS include….all local authorities, all health trusts, all Local Strategic Partnerships, housing associations, business

enterprise organisations, regional development agency, business representative organisations, economic & agricultural forums,

regeneration companies, charity & voluntary organisations, the LEA, ‘local’ universities;

environmental organisations, renewable energy & energy efficiency organisations…..



Strategy & Action Plan… signed by 72 local organisations… launched by UK Energy Minister

in 32 actions to achieve energy sustainability for

Cornwall, its communities and its businesses



‘Multi-agency’ approach to

increasing household energy efficiency in

deprived and isolated communities

So far more than 3000 homes

have received insulation and/or

heating measures

In some areas 91% of houses

surveyed required

measures



Working in partnership to improve the energy efficiency of homes in deprived & isolated areas has:

• Significantly improved the well-being of residents

• Redistributed income back into the local economy as well as providing local employment

• Produced a 35% increase in annual carbon savings in the domestic sector
