Southern Right 2017 Walker Bay 60 A tight, complex wine with a classic minerality and length, balancing the ripe fruit.

Oak Valley Fountain Of Youth 2018 Groenlandberg-Elgin 52 Aromas of passion fruit, white peach and litchi with a slight herbaceous undertone. Flavours of passion fruit persist on the palate,

particularly granadilla, lemons, white pear, gooseberry and a lovely saline finish that reminds one of fresh oyster shells or sea salt.

African Penguin Reserve by Creation 2017 New 2018 Vintage in October Cape South Coast 53 60% Grenache, 20% Viognier, 20% Syrah. The gentle allure of rosebud and straw mingles with inviting whiffs of wild strawberry

and lemon blossom - chic yet convivial. On the palate mineral hints with zesty flavours of strawberry, raspberry and cherry.

Durbanville Hills 2017 Durbanville Hills 36 100% Merlot. Hints of raspberries and strawberry dusted with rose petals. Refreshing and light-bodied dry wine with an

abundance of fresh summer berries on the palate and berry compote.

UNWOODED RED BLEND

Ashbourne Pinotage/Cinsault 2018 Swartland 99 A Pinotage with a youthful, fresh, fruit purity untarnished by any wood influence. Blending in 20% Cinsault adds a lovely, tight and

bright freshness to the wine. This wine has a clean aromatic and flavour complexity, without structural density or bigness.

An unusually versatile companion at the table - chilled or otherwise.

Durbanville Hills 2015 Durbanville Hills 54 Combination of ripened and dark fruit, rich dark chocolate, sweet wood spice with hints of plum and cassis. A medium bodied

Merlot accentuated by flavours of soft sweet red and dark fruit, rounded off with silky tannins and a full mouth feel.

SHIRAZ / SYRAH

Vondeling Baldrick Shiraz 2017 Voor-Paardeberg 49 The wine displays a deep scarlet and purple colour. Lovely floral notes of cherry blossom, rose petals and violets on the nose.

Beautifully infused with sweet cinnamon, cloves, truffle and coriander. Nicely rounded with soft tannins. Full of plump juicy plums,

subtle pepper, rich smoky cigar and roasted black olives and other exotic spices. A versatile, vibrant and relatively full-bodied wine.

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Springfield Whole Berry 2016 Robertson 94 A luscious and juicy wine, with as little intervention in the cellar as possible. Simply de-stemmed, the whole, uncrushed bunches are

transported using only a gravity flow system. Whole berry maceration is followed by fermentation with natural yeasts, racking and

one year’s maturation in oak barrels. The result is a velvety wine with softer tannins and classical varietal characteristics.

This traditional wine is unfiltered and unfined, which may deposit sediment and might require decanting. Deliciously smooth and

velvety in texture and full of juicy cassis, mint and plum flavours.

PINOT NOIR

Mr P Knows by Iona 2017 Elgin 68 Beautiful ripe strawberries, raspberries, cranberries and sweet spice on the nose, with subtle hints of forest floor and wild mushrooms.

The wine is fresh with vibrant acidity and a long textured, savoury finish. It is an excellent combination of Old meets New World!

PINOTAGE

Zonnebloem 2016 Stellenbosch 56 The deep ruby red colours belie the perfect balance which runs through every facet of this wine. Chocolate and red berries

culminate in an exciting palate, painstakingly crafted from the moment of conception through to the final sip to create a classic

Pinotage, elegant, rich in fruit, and a hint of spice.

Brilliant yellow with hints of gold. On the nose pineapple tangerine, apricot and dried peach. A subtle balance between acid and

sugar with dried fruit and pineapple notes.

Dom Pérignon 2006 Épernay - France 4 107 It is all here so beautifully orchestrated in this incredibly well-balanced and flowing rich symphony. It is so voluptuously charming and

welcoming immediately, but at the same time so complex that the interest in what you will discover in the next gulp never ceases.

A gigantic large and intense aroma, a silk caressing structure and a dazzling grand finale. Notes from the sea, roasted nuts, coffee,

brioche, tropical green fruits, stone fruit, green apples, sweet orange citrus, gunpowder, nougat, mushroom cream and black truffle

are all there like a perfectly tailored tuxedo. Love at first taste.

Möet & Chandon Rosé Impérial (N.V.) Épernay - France 1 598 Rosé Imperial displays a pink colour with amber highlights. Lively and intense, the bouquet exudes red fruits (wild strawberry, raspberry,

cherry) with floral nuances of rose and a slight hint of pepper. On the palate, the wine shows a juicy intensity of berries (strawberry,

raspberry, redcurrant) rounded out by the fleshiness and firmness of peach and the freshness of a subtle note of mint.

Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut Yellow Lable (N.V.) Reims - France 1 525 Yellow Label manages to reconcile two opposing factors - strength and silkiness - and to hold them in perfect balance with aromatic
