The Fred. Olsen differenceFred. Olsen are not interested in gimmicks like zip wires, climbing walls or celebrity chefs. They don’t have boastful megaships. They take immense pride in their fleet of smaller-scaled vessels that retain the style, ambience and understated quality of a country house hotel. They might not be as new as some ships, but Fred. Olsen don’t automatically believe that younger is better; there’s a lot to be said for having the benefit of experience. With the fifth generation Fred. Olsen as Chairman, they're led with 170 years’ worth of seafaring heritage, and Fred. Olsen believe they've found the perfect formula

for you to get the best out of your holiday with them.

So much included with your cruiseWith Fred. Olsen you’ll find so much is included in the cruise price you won’t have to worry about a thing. Rest assured, all of the following comes as standard: comfortable en-suite accommodation; all meals; tea and coffee; evening entertainment, including dancing and cabaret shows; daytime activities; and leisure facilities, including gym, swimming pools and Jacuzzis.

Shore Tours can enhance your experienceFred. Olsen have included a selection of the many and varied tours they offer, at additional cost, to enhance your cruise experience. The full list will be published on fredolsencruises.com nearer to the departure date.

We are very excited to unveil our new, record-breaking sailing of the Corinth Canal & Greek Islands in 2019! This outstanding itinerary has been specially crafted to show you an unmatched collection of beautiful islands, along with a navigation of the Corinth Canal, unlike any ever before it.

Named as Cruise Critic’s ‘Best for Itineraries’ for two years in a row, there’s an inherent passion for travel that resonates through our family-run company, and it starts with meticulous itinerary planning. In addition to this voyage’s record-breaking feat, almost every port of call offers the Fred. Olsen benefit of docking close to the heart of the destinations.

As a fine example, in Patras head just a few miles away from your waiting ship to visit the atmospheric Roman Odeum: all the main elements of this ancient Roman

theatre that could seat 2,300 people remain. In Cartagena, you’re just a four-minute, sun-splashed stroll away from city attractions. The archaeological museum sits nearby with an extensive collection to bring history to life.

There are many more highlights too. On the beautiful island of Rhodes you’ll discover well-preserved ancient towns and historic monuments, such as the Avenue of Knights, and the imposing Palace of the Grand Masters. You can also take an excursion to the spectacular Acropolis of Lindos. Or perhaps visit the birthplace of the Olympics with tours from Katakolon.

In addition to this string of proud Greek delights, there’s still so much to see. Malta, Sicily, Malaga, Ibiza and more are on the menu too – and of course, there’s the pièce de résistance…

Record-Breaking

New Fred. Olsen sailing for 2019!

Be part of something record-breakingCarving through the earth, splitting the Greek mainland, the man-made marvel,

the Corinth Canal, connects the Gulf of Corinth to the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea, and it makes for an unreal sailing experience.

Unlike other scenic cruising opportunities, this isn’t about watching the countryside pass you by – you’ll be closely hugged by imposing, sheer canal walls either side of you

– a fantastic reminder that you really are on board a smaller ship. At some points this impressivecanal is as narrow as 81 feet wide, making it impassable for most vessels. Even with her modest

dimensions, Braemar will be the largest ship to ever sail through this channel!
