Your SW Champions will be your main channels to recruit ‘survivors’, to distribute emails and to spread the word of Survival Week. Your Champions will create a buzz and keep Survival Week trending

Having 4 or 5 Champions will help you succeed best, however you can have as many as you like! The more you have the greater the audience for your SW emails and fundraising!

You should aim to have your Champions in place by 22nd December and raring to go. This will give you the maximum time to get your communications out through as many people as possible!

Recruit your SW Champions!

Start communications as early as possible to ensure you start raising awareness, stepping up in the first week of Januaryand then posting daily by the time SW starts

Holding lunchtime sessions aboutRISE and SW, face to face with potential volunteers, is an effective recruitment tool. Always remember to bring a “pledge sheet”

Multi-channel communications will increase awareness (email, social media, leaflets etc). Get a “buzz” going by using social media. Being active on sites like Twitter, Facebook & internal networks will get SW noticed and trending. Remember #survivalweek #iwillsurvive

If your workplace has a number of different groups or communities, ensure to communicate to each one to maximise

exposure
