NO Tuesday Assembly this weekNext School Assembly will be in Week 5 Term 2

24th May

The 5/6 students will lead the assembly.

(continued from page 1)

Last week’s school assembly was treated to a special rendition of Banjo Patterson’s ‘The Man from Ironbark’. The audience found the item highly entertaining thanks to some brilliant acting from Manon, Sam, Ben and the rest of Mr Eason’s class. See photos attached.

On Thursday K-2 will be going to Bangalow public School for the Bravehearts Education program. Also good luck to Ryan, Charli, Xavier M, Matthew, Hope, Soara and Belle who will be participating in the Digital Technology component of the International Competition and Assesment for Schools 2016.

If your child is attending after school care can you please forward a note to school to advise of the regular days your child will be attending Rainbow Region After School Care. This will then become your child’s regular routine and if there is a change to this you would then advise the school by forwarding a note or ringing.

Great news! Parents will now be able to make payments on-line for amounts owing to the school via a secure payment page available on the schools website. Payments can be made using either a Visa, Mastercard or debit card. We feel this will be embraced by many parents as a more convenient way to pay for school costs. See further information and flyer attached.

Thank you to Helene (John-Joseph’s mum) for providing our kids with an absolutely delicious lunch and treat last Friday and huge thank you to Al and Mel who have put together a draft submission to council regarding the inadequate bus stop/zones that our children currently board and alight from.

Many thanks

Geoff Coghlan

EXCITING NEWS – ON-LINE PAYMENTS ARE HERE!

Make Online Payments

It is now possible for parents to make online payments to the school for amounts owing for students, via a secure payment page hosted by Westpac. Payments can be made using either a Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card. The payment page is accessed from the front page of the schools website by selecting $ Make a payment

Items that can be paid include voluntary school contributions, subject contributions, excursions, and creative and practical arts activities (art, drama and dance). There is also a category called Other this is to cover items not covered in the previous headings, Other can be used to make a complete payment of a school invoice.

When you access the $ Make a payment you must enter:

• the students name, and • class and reference number OR • the students name, and • date of birth.

These details are entered each time you make a payment as student information is not held within the payment system. There is also the option to enter the Student Registration Number and Invoice number these are not used by our school so please leave these fields blank.

This is a secure payment system hosted by Westpac to ensure that your credit/debit card details are captured in a secure manner, these details are not passed back to the school.

You have the ability to check and change any details of the payment before the payment is processed. You will then have the option for the receipt to be e-mailed or printed

Where a parent/carer is paying for multiple students the parent should enter payments separately for each student by selecting Make another payment at the Online Payment Receipt screen.

Payment for an activity or excursion does not constitute permission to participate. Parents/carers should be aware that permission notes are still required for relevant activities. There will be provision on each permission note to record on-line payment receipt number and date.

Details of the payments are passed daily to the school (Please allow 24 hours for payments to show on our bank account) where they will be receipted against your child’s account. As a receipt has been issued from the payment page a further receipt will not be issued by the school.

For any further enquiries regarding the Online Payment process please contact the School Administration Office.
