Thank you Westville members for assisting in making this a remarkable race and giving up of your time to assist. To ILLO- VO, a huge thank you for once again coming forward to spon- sor the race as without spon- sors the race certainly couldn't proceed. ILLOVO, your support is truly appreciated. Congratulations must also go the Dovey’s who welcomed their little twins into the world on Monday 9 December 2013. Aiden Charles and Ella Kath- leen weighed in at 3.0 & 2.8kg respectively, remarkably big for twins. We wish you all the joy and happiness in the future. On Tuesday evening we had a rather successful visit by Father Christmas even though the weather was well and truly mis- erable. Thank you to all the parents who made the evening a success. It is an absolute delight to see the joy on all the little ones faces when Father Christmas appears. It would be amiss of me not to mention the sad news of Madiba’s passing, last week Thursday, and with it a week of mourning taking place cultimat- ing in his funeral taking place on Sunday. As a result of the funeral the last race of 2013, the Calder Cup has been cancelled and the Um- hlanga festival trail run and the Weaver 21,1km has also been moved to the Monday. Next week’s club TT will be a festive one and we ask that you all do the TT in red and with a Christmas theme. Thereafter, the weekly TT will be unofficial with no times being recorded. Official TT’s will only resume in the New Year on the 7 January 2014. This will also be the last issue off the newsletter for 2013 and all that remains is for me to wish each and every one of you who celebrate at this time of year a truly Merry Christ- mas and to those who don’t happy holidays. If you are travelling, do so safely and DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE’. 2014, is going to be a great year and we look forward to welcom- ing you back and hearing all the “war” stories. Registrations will take place on Saturday 11 Janu- ary 2014, between 9am—1pm. If you would like to pay your subs in the meantime you are most welcome to do an EFT (bank details on the website). Marital Bliss. It's all to do with perspective… Two women having a coffee 'So how was your evening last night?' 'A disaster he came home wolfed his dinner that took all afternoon to prepare, I got three minutes of pas-sionate love then he rolled over and went to sleep! A Nightmare, what about you?' 'Oh mine was incredible. I came home, he was waiting for me. He took me out for a romantic dinner, we walked home along the canal under an amazing starry night. Once home he lit the candles and the foreplay lasted for an hour. We then made love for another hour and chatted until late, it was wonderful.' The Blokes 'So how was your evening last night?' 'Incredible, got home the food was ready, wolfed it down, had a shag, fell asleep, a wonderful night. What a woman. How was yours?' 'Bloody nightmare. I came home to fix the kitchen shelf. When I switched on the drill the fuse blew and the house was in darkness. Couldn't find the fuse box, when she arrived I took her out for dinner so I wouldn't get an earful. Dinner was fine but so expensive I ran out of mon-ey so we had to walk home. It took ages but then I had to light all these f...ing candles to avoid knocking everything over. I was so pissed off it took ages to get a hard on and another hour to finish. In the end I was so wound up it took me hours to fall asleep while she kept yapping on about everything and nothing....a total bloody disaster.'
