No muss, no fuss
SAGA Cooking Paper brings out the aroma of your cooking ingredients. The taste is more intense – and simply better. Serving food wrapped in the paper is an experience for all senses. The intense aroma of the food only escapes when the paper pouch is opened at the table.
Bring out the aroma
SAGA Cooking Paper is made from renewable raw materials from sustainably managed forests. It is biodegradable, compostable and can be incinerated.
A great dissappearing act
Cooking with SAGA papers means more natural vitamins and minerals are retained in the food. Thanks to non-stick properties of the paper, you can also avoid using unnecessary fat. As a result, you are simply cooking much healthier food.
Protect dishes and baking tins against dirt and sticky burns with SAGA papers. This means less detergent, water and energy – and less wear and tear of dishes. One quick rinse and your washing up is done.
SAGA Cooking Paper makes preparing and portioning food efficient and simple, whilst making cooking, baking and storing food easier. Large kitchens, restaurants and caterers can simplify the food preparation workflow and deliver more meals to generate more food revenue.
Goodies that are good for you

Slice the aubergines, tomatoes and red onion.
Break (or cut) the goat’s cheese into small pieces.
Dry fry the aubergines in a frying pan on each side until golden brown. Prepare 4 SAGA boats (see page 12). Stack the aubergine, tomato, red onion slices and basil leaves alternately in the boats (just like stacking books on a shelf) and season with salt and black pepper every now and then.
Sprinkle the goat’s cheese on top and bake at 200°C in the fan oven (220°C in the conventional oven) until the cheese is golden brown.
TOP TIP: By using SAGA pouches, packages and boats, you can cater to individual tastes by leaving out or adding more ingredients.

ness, SAGA products are used daily in food prepara-
tion, cooking and serving, as well take-away products.
“With the help of SAGA Cooking Paper I’ve created
a completely new way to cook. Its versatility, ease of
use and innovativeness makes it a perfect partner in
the kitchen. The fact that you can put the cooking pa-
per into boiling water and cook food wrapped in it has
helped us create new and healthier dishes. Moreover,
how cooking and especially steaming food in SAGA
paper preserves the natural aroma, succulence and
freshness of the ingredients has dazzled us all.”

Restaurant Sa Garrafa, Spain
Micky Vera is professional cook who runs his own res-
taurant in Formentera in the Balearic Islands. He also
has a home catering service for those who have little
time for cooking or would like to organise a special
dinner party. He believes in healthy cooking and has
created several recipes that use SAGA Cooking Paper.
“Cooking with SAGA is very exciting as we can retain
the flavours of the ingredients while boiling or baking
in an oven – in fact its versatility means it can be used
from preparation to serving. I’ve been able to develop
several traditional Mediterranean dishes that use the
paper as part of the cooking process whether it’s a
starter, main course or a dessert. And the best thing
is – once you’ve finished, everything’s clean!”

by using SAGA Cooking Paper. The response from
guests is decidedly positive as each guest has the
pleasure of opening the SAGA Cooking Paper at the
table. The smell and taste is an experience that could
hardly be more intense or more aromatic.”
