Until the installation of the tubebelt conveyor, the railway systemwas used for the internal planthandling of the burned limestonebetween the kiln and the grindinginstallation. The use of a BEUMERtube belt conveyor greatly reducedthe high costs associated with the original track system and met the customer requirements for a continuous, clean system that will be flexible enough and adaptable to fit into existing spaceconfines, while offering optimumperformance.
