Komline-Sanderson announced the availability of their K-S Avery Filter Presses for a wide range of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment ap- plications. K-S Avery filter presses are available as either variable-volume (membrane) or fixed-volume recessed chamber presses. The variable-volume design uses special membrane plates to squeeze the filter cake after the forma- tion cycle. This results in 50 to 100% higher cake solids with reduced cycle times, improved cake release, auto- mated operation, and low maintenance.
