CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION MODULES (TRACHEOSTOMY CARE) DEPARTMENT OF NURSING & MIDWIFERY Module Overview This level 9 module provides students with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and practice in evidence based tracheostomy care. The module is designed to facilitate learning in assessment and therapeutic nursing interventions for people with a tracheostomy within the context of tracheostomy safety and holistic care. *This module can be taken as a stand-alone module or as part of the MSc Nursing (Respiratory Care) Programme.
