AUDITORSAt the end of each individual competition, each judge will place his/her score sheet in a manila envelope; seal it and sign his/her name across the flap. A committee member will then collect the envelopes and deliver them to an Auditor for tabulation. At the end of the pageant, the auditor will determine the contestant with the highest score in each division and the highest grand score will be awarded MBR 2017 title. The original judge’s sheets and tabulation sheet will be filed with the MBR Chairman. No score sheets will be posted or given to contestants. After the competition, the Chairman will put together the contestants’ score in each judged division and the high score in that division which will be mailed to the contestant along with that individual’s comments.

SCHOLARSHIPThe scholarship to MBR 2017 will be honored at the school of the winner’s choice. The money will be awarded as follows: ½ to the fall semester and ½ to the spring semester. Theresa Petska must receive a letter of notification from the school Registrar’s Office stating that the scholarship recipient has registered for classes. This letter must be received by Oct. 15, 2017 for the fall semester, and by Feb. 15, 2018 for the spring semester. The scholarship money will be sent directly to the school. Scholarship monies must be claimed during the year of reign, or an official letter with reason for not using the scholarship must be submitted for review to the committee. A decision on whether or not to extend the scholarship beyond the year of reign lies with the committee and will be determined based on individual circumstances. Should a contestant be out of college, arrangements will be made to use the scholarship to pay off student loans or use at a trade school.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS OF MISS BURWELL RODEO
