A team ofjudges both adults and teenagers evaluatedover5,500 entriesandidentified

these 245finalists, allof whom we consider winners.

But this contest was different than any we have ever run . Forone thing, individualexcellence

was not the only criteria; equally importantwas the broadstory these pieces could tell together.Foranother, this was notjust a LearningNetworkproject. While ourjudges identified the
