SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY Cliff Prior CBE CEO of UnLtd Cliff Prior CBE is the Chief Executive of UnLtd, the UK Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs. Cliff is also a member of Comic Relief’s UK Grants Committee, the Clore Social Leadership Group, the FYSE young social entrepreneur scheme in Asia, and the Dept. of Health Social Enterprise & Third Sector Taskforce. Cliff has set up several organisations over the years such as Strutton Housing for people living with HIV in the 1980s through

to more current work on the Big Local Trust. Cliff joined UnLtd from mental health charity Rethink, where he was Chief Executive for over 8 years.

Under his leadership, Rethink grew to become the UK’s largest and most influential charity in mental health. Rethink is both a membership based advocacy organisation and a social enterprise delivering over £40m pa in health and social care services under contract. Cliff previously worked in social housing, community care, criminal justice, and health policy and research fields. His previous non-exec roles include the UK Government Civil Society Advisory Body, Healthcare Commission, Medicines Commission, NHS Modernisation Board, Circle 33 Housing Association and the Long Term Conditions Alliance.

Oli Zolman CEO and Founder Jellyfish Medicine Oliver is a third year medical student at Kings’ College London. He is taking a year out of his medical degree to study how to grow, print and commercialize replacement human organs. Oliver recently founded his social enterprise, Jellyfish Medicine*, to solve today's two greatest healthcare problems; unhealthy lifestyles and human ageing. He is

running a series of events with world-renown speakers in which he teaches people how they can also solve these problems - you can register at www.publichealthandlongevity.org. [*inspired by the jellyfish species Turritopsis dorhnii, of which has the ability to reverse its own ageing].

Dr Elizabeth Adelodun Founder of MindTorch Dr Elizabeth Adelodun is a Kings’ College Neuroscience graduate. Her PhD investigated potential contributing factors to neurodegenerative disorders including Alzheimer’s disease. She founded MindTorch in December 2013 (www.mindtorch.co.uk); a social enterprise that helps Life Science and Medical students achieve their career aspirations through exposure to Mentors (within conventional

and non-conventional scientific routes) in a field of their interest. She is passionate about solving problems and sharing knowledge through mentoring; and she believes that innovative healthcare solutions to patient problems will be established through collaboration.

Kresse Wesling MBE Co-founder and Director at Elvis & Kresse

Kresse Wesling, MBE, is a multi-award winning environmental entrepreneur and Young Global Leader with a background in venture capital and significant start-up experience. After first meeting with the London Fire Brigade in 2005, Kresse launched Elvis & Kresse, which turns industrial waste into innovative lifestyle products and returns 50% of profits to charities related to the waste. Elvis & Kresse’s first line is made from decommissioned fire hose, 50% of the profits from this line are donated to the Fire Fighters Charity. The company now collects 12 different waste streams, has several charitable partnerships and is involved with collaborations across industries, from fashion houses to FTSE 100 companies etc.

Cameron Saul Co-founder and Director at Bottletop

With a background in the fashion industry, Cameron worked for Mulberry in London, Hugo Boss in Paris and Maurizio Baldassari in Milan. During a gap year spent teaching sexual and reproductive health education for Relentless Development in rural Uganda, Cameron discovered a handbag made from recycled bottle tops. The product became the best selling centrepiece of The Mulberry Bottletop Campaign, raising vital funds for grass roots health education projects and generating incomes for craftsmen in Africa. He co-founded the Bottletop Foundation with his father, Roger (founder of Mulberry) in 2002 and has continued to build the charity and Bottletop brand

through strategic partnerships, diversified fundraising streams and products with an uncompromising focus on quality of design. Cameron launched the music side of Bottletop through the UK wide ‘Sound Affects’ album and campaign in 2005 and the contemporary art side through the ‘Full Circle’ programme in 2009. The foundation continues to support grass roots education projects in Rwanda, Mozambique, Rwanda, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Brazil and the UK. Cameron co-founded Bottletop, the sustainable luxury fashion company, with Oliver Wayman in 2011 with a view to scaling the brand and the delivery of its mission to deliver social impact by empowering many more people with skills and livelihoods in developing countries globally while supporting the Bottletop Foundation. Bottletop launched design collaboration with one of America’s foremost designers, Narciso Rodriguez, in Spring 2014 to critical acclaim, winning the GCC (Green Carpet Challenge) award for excellence in ethics and aesthetics from Eco Age. The collection is sold in several of the world’s leading store groups. Luminaries ranging from Anna Wintour to Donna Karan and Jessica Alba to Claire Danes covet Bottletop designs.
