DescriptionBased on the Website of the Investigative Artist Vera Sue Peters

adding a blog page for followers leave comments on her work or

statements, and photos. With orenge head type in Ariel and gray

type in Helvetica with the image of greenery simular to her web

page. On a three Column grid type layout, that has square buttons

with rounded edges. The colors are Green, Orange, and Gray on a

white background.

LayoutThe Layout is Clean with Orange and Green Buttons alternating with a white background and with the greenery image at the top menu. The buttons are below the top menu, on the first page that is all buttons. The layout is on a Three Column Grid through out the entire app.

Sometimes you have to pack it all in. A weekend last month taught me a perfect triad of new skills. On Saturday I began the day with a crew of spinners. In the afternoon, I went to acting class, then home for a mellow walk to a neighbor-hood bar and video store. An early bed-time prepared me for a Sunday morning of tactical handgun training in the moun-tains. The weekend ended with gourmet ice cream. Los Angeles is a magical world.

The weather was beautiful all weekend. Sunroof open, I drove to a West Side church where the Greater Los Angeles Spinning Guild was having their monthly meeting. These aren’t the kind of spinners riding stationary bikes. These are pri-marily ladies, and they’re equipped with spindles and wheels and loads of natu-ral fibers that they draw into long, even strands for weaving and knitting. The technology is old and new. For Healing?

Sometimes you have to pack it all in. A weekend last month taught me a perfect triad of new skills. On Saturday I began the day with a crew of spinners. In the afternoon, I went to acting class, then home for a mellow walk to a neighborhood bar and video store. An early bedtime prepared me for a Sunday morning of tacti-cal handgun training in the moun-tains. The weekend ended with gourmet ice cream. Los Angeles is a magical world.

The Purpose for this project is for Vera Sue Peters to become more mobile and technology friendly. This App will allow her fans to receive updated information on their phones and not just their desktops or laptop. Having Vera move with the time of technology she will be more noticed in modern society, accepted, and understood by more people. She may even get more job offers having her website mobile with her resume on it. The App will be based off of her website with the overall look and feel, also with the color choices and the three column grid system. Vera Sue Peters is an out standing artist that does some amazing work and deserved to be known in the world and not just to artists. Having an attached Blog to her website on her app may help her with this. The blog will let her get feed back on her work, yes there will be bad criticism as well as good, but having her know that she is being noticed will bring a bigger audience to her shows and possibly more buyers for her work. Giving her a bigger prophet and making it more possible to make more quality crafted pieces. With that she will be noticed even more and the cycle grows to a new kind of buyers for her work as her work will become more sought after.Of course all of this will go up on her new blog page on her app that will add to the growing effect of the want for your art to be in homes of collectors and big fans. She may even get commissions if she so chooses to take part in requests from clients.

Vera Sue Peters will have to hire a graphic designer and a web coder for this project just to make sure everything goes smoothly on both ends of design and function. Each gets paid by the hour at around 15 to 20 dollars an hour if they are decent at what they do. If they work for a Design or Web Firm they may cost more but will so a better job the a rookie but a freelance designer is just as good if not better then one that works at a design firm same goes for the web designer. The Web Designer will be doing all the complicated coding for the app so that it works properly on the phone and the Graphic designer would be the one doing the layout of the app, and possibly designing the buttons. Both are needed and one cannot work without the other unless the web artist is really good at design or the graphic designer is proficient at coding that they usually are not. She will also have to pay for the space for her app on the cyber space that can coast at least 6.75% of the total amount to make the app, which can be up to $30,000. That comes to a cost around $4,000 at the most for the space annually, that equals out to about $300 a month.

6.75% going to the space for the iPhone.

Can Average to $300 a Month for the app.

The time at which it takes to create a full functioning App can

be from 8 to 12 weeks. The designers have to catalog their

time spent of the project so they can get paid. The designers

determine it all and if there are any hiccups’ along the way.

Using an ever growing range of medium combinations - cement, fabrics, yarns, porcelain, granite, steel, wood products - she transforms their inherent opposing qualities into sculptures that inspire a sense of unity and harmonious forms. A graduate from the Wichita State University Fine Arts department in Sculpture, Peters’s early years of artwork appeared in venues in and around the Wichita area, including solo installations of “New Work” at Project Gallery here in Wichita and again at Rutgers University in New Jersey. In March of 2005, she had two installations in “Aesthetica”, an artist invitational at The Wichita Center for the Arts, and later that year, traveled to Oklahoma to install over five hundred cement and velvet spheres covering a lengthy sixty foot wall

at the Myers Gallery at Living Arts in Tulsa. In 2006, Peters was involved in the “XX Invitational” at the Fisch Haus Studio and Gallery where she installed three large steel overhead frames that functioned as supports to a suspended grid of hand cast cement shells. At the distant view, another grid of green cement circles were hung on the far wall to introduce a variable sense of viewer introspection, often representative in her work. In 2007, a new development of artistic evolution came when Peters traveled internationally for the first time. Studying Ashtanga yoga and meditation in India and Nepal, she continued to observe the natural world around her, absorbing art and culture in a totally new environment with opened eyes. During her yearlong stay, she discovered a new connection with repetition and began playing with mosaic patterns of tiles that she would find in the gutters and trash piles. “The Indians must

have thought I was crazy”, digging through the piles to find just the right pieces. Upon her return to the states, Peters was commissioned to design and install a spa feature on a garden estate in the beautiful hills of southern California. Working with granite, travertine, and colorful porcelain tiles, she created a masterful art piece that continues to inspire a new direction of her professional art career.
