a jamberry historyThe story of Jamberry began with three sisters, each possessing an individual sense of fashion,

with a shared love of style. After an expensive afternoon at the nail salon, Lyndsey, Christy,

and Keri were determined to find a simpler, more cost-effective way to keep their nails looking

When you achieve a Fast Start goal, you may immediately begin working on the next one and any excess PRV or parties can apply to the next goal for Fast Starts 1 and 2. Fast Start 3 can be achieved at any time during your Fast Start period (sign up month plus 3 full months). If you miss a goal during the allotted timeframe you can still achieve the next goal. You must achieve all three Fast Starts during the determined timeframe to be a Triple Fast Start achiever.

STATEMENT OF TYPICAL PARTICIPANT’S EARNINGS The primary source of income of a Typical Participant in the compensation plan (“the Plan”) of Jamberry Nails Canada Ltd. (“Jamberry Nails Canada”) is from compensation for the service of arranging for the sale of products. Personal earnings will vary. A Participant in the plan is defined as an Independent Consultant who actively engages in the activities necessary to realize the benefits of the Plan (i.e. earning at least four monthly payments annually). Typical Participant means a Participant engaged in the Plan for at least one year. A typical participant in the plan in 2016 earned C$233.00 in commissions, excluding retail profits.

launch partyBefore you start setting up parties, we encourage you to first kick off your new business by

hosting your own home party. This will help you get a feel for how a party functions. You will

become more comfortable with the products and the demonstration of the application, and

you can experience your first party with your own friends and family. Inviting those closest to

you is a great way to get people to your first party and is also a nice opportunity for you to

receive feedback. Use the party training in the Jamberry University to show you how.

Everything you need to launch your first home party is provided in your Starter Kit. Making

sure you have the right materials on hand is key to the success of your party; ask your Sponsor

for advice. You might even ask your Sponsor to be there to support you during your launch

party. You can hold your first online party prior to receiving your Starter Kit.

HOSTS: FINDING & COACHINGbooking partiesA great way to find Hosts who are willing to book a party is by letting everyone know you are

a Jamberry Consultant on your social media pages. Wearing the wraps when you are out and

about is also a great way to market the product and draw the attention of potential Hosts. Let

a potential Host know what’s in it for them — free nail wraps and the chance to impress their

friends and family with this fabulous product.

party. To make the most of your time, and provide the greatest return on the efforts of your

Host, each party needs to be a success. By motivating and coaching your Host thoroughly,

use to help plan and execute a great party.

Offering kit credit to buy down the cost of the new Consultant Starter Kit is a great way to

build your team. If a potential recruit hosts a party, she/he can apply Host rewards towards the

Host Success Planner

Jamberry created a Host Success Planner available to download from your workstation. This

Host Success Planner is designed to be a guide to your Host on having a successful Jamberry

party. It also has a “Love our products? Become a Consultant!” section that can assist you in

creating interest in the Jamberry opportunity with your Host.

Past Host Booking Benefits

A Host can earn additional half-priced benefits when a guest from her/his party books and

hosts a Jamberry Party within three months of the original party. Party sales must be 150

Party Points or more for Past Host Booking Benefits to be activated. The originating Host will

receive an email with a coupon code to use once the booked party reaches 150 Party Points

in sales. The booking must be linked to the original Host while the party is still open. See your

workstation for additional training on this subject.

SUCCESSFUL PARTYINGbefore the partyOnce you have someone who is ready to host parties, you’ll want to prepare them with a few

important details:

• Work together to set a date, ideally within the next two weeks, to host a party.

• Ask your Host to invite as many of their friends and family as possible and set the expectation that a minimum of 10 adult guests will help secure a successful party. To ensure 10 guests, the host should have at least 15 people committed to attend.

• Help your Host with ideas for sending out invitations (i.e. e-vite, personal and phone invitations, posting their party on their social media accounts, sending invitations, etc.).

• Inform your Host of what she/he will need to provide for set up, such as a table that is close to an electrical outlet for product applications and a place to display product and catalogs.

• Set up the party in your workstation. (See Training information “Before the Party” on your workstation.)

at the party (in home)Set up And Preparations:

Arrive early so you can greet each guest individually.

What to bring:

a) The application tools that come in your Starter Kit, plus your Mini-Heaters. You will need at least two for demo stations.

b) Catalogs/Brochures

c) Sample Nail Wraps

d) Order Forms

e) Your party calendar with the days and times you are available to do a party so the guests can book parties while they are excited.

f ) A door prize or survey slip, found under “Documents” on the “Resources and Training” tab of your workstation.

Set up:

• Your Host may want to prepare some light refreshments — something simple that won’t be distracting.

• Lay out your catalogs, sample cards, and other products.

During the party, you will give a brief overview of the product. Let everyone know how

much you have enjoyed your nails, how long they last, and how many compliments you have

received. You should demonstrate the application process for everyone to see by applying

the nail wraps on yourself. You should also explain the wrap removal process and emphasize

the importance of following it. After your demonstration, encourage everyone to experience

Jamberry by applying a nail wrap to themselves from the sample cards you provide. We

recommend only laying out a few sheets of sample cards so that everyone can apply wraps

to one or two nails, not an entire application of either hands or feet. As the Jamberry

Consultant, you will help the guests and give them tips while they’re applying their nail

wraps, and explain the benefits and features of the product.

The sample application combined with the social interaction is the most important part of the

Jamberry party experience. Customers gain confidence in the product, in you, and in their own

ability to apply the product. A great experience here will lead to guests who are more likely to

purchase and share their experience with friends. More detailed training on how to present a

Jamberry party is found on your workstation.

After demonstrating the product, invite the guests to place their orders. Identify those guests

who seem most interested in the product and Jamberry; invite at least one person to host a

party or to become a Consultant.

for an online partyBuild a relationship with your Host; this is very important since there is no face-to-face

interaction during the party. You want your Host to partner with you and work towards helping

you gain future business. A few other key tips include:

• Determine how you will run your online party.

• Plan and prepare posts for both you and your Host to share.

• Play fun and interactive games. For more information on this, go to Jamberry University on your workstation. Under “New Consultant Training”, click on “Social Media 101”, and then “Launch Party”.

For more information on hosting online parties, review the social media launch party training

found in the Jamberry University.

NOTE: Unless you are a licensed nail technician, applying nails on customers is not permitted. Please encourage customers to observe you and then practice applying the nail wraps on themselves.

after the party (in home & online) • Be sure to thank your Host before leaving.

• Follow up with her/him within two days after the party to receive any follow up orders.

• All home party orders must be submitted to Jamberry within five days from the date the order was given to the Consultant. Catalog and online parties may not remain open longer than 14 days. All orders from catalog and online parties must be submitted within five days of closing.

• Commissions are paid weekly and bonus and overrides are distributed no later than the 10th day of each month following the commission period. If the 10th falls on a holiday or weekend, checks will be sent on the next business day.

fundraisers Jamberry fundraisers are an opportunity to promote your business and help organizations

raise funds in an exciting new way. Fundraisers may be offered to clubs, groups, organizations,

sports teams, religious groups, or any legitimate organization who may need to raise money.

A fundraiser is essentially a Jamberry party (either home or online party). Instead of receiving

free and half-priced products, the organization receives a cash contribution of 10% of party

sales from Jamberry. The contribution is based on the total guest sales before shipping and

tax. Products will be shipped to the address on the order check. The check will be sent directly

Local events are a good way to promote your business and expand your customer base. The

most common types of local events are trade shows, but you should also consider fairs and

festivals. A great way to find these events is to contact your local Chamber of Commerce. You

can also search Facebook and Google for local events. Policy states that there can only be one

Jamberry Consultant per event.

MANAGING YOUR BUSINESScalendarWhether your goal is to work your business part-time or full-time, you will need to schedule

time to make calls, follow up with leads, and do parties. One of the most important things you

can do is set a work schedule and stick to it. Set aside the appropriate time in your calendar to

work your business. Schedule your work time and write it in your calendar, just as you would a

doctor or dentist appointment.

Decide what days or nights of the week you want to hold your parties and put these dates on

your calendar. Stick to this party schedule by only placing your parties on the dates you have

chosen. This establishes a good work habit of calendar control early in your business.

workstationYou can log into your Consultant workstation by clicking the “Consultant Login” link on the

Jamberry homepage (www.jamberry.com). Becoming familiar with your workstation will help

you operate your business more efficiently. Your workstation provides easy-to-use technology

to place orders, schedule parties, access training and marketing materials, view personal and

team performance reports, and communicate with your team.

expensesWhen you joined Jamberry, you joined a very small number of the population that are business

owners. As such, you have access to significant tax advantages — even if you have not officially

organized an LLC or corporation. Take advantage of these savings from the beginning and

keep track of your expenses and mileage. This is so when tax time arrives, you can enjoy the

tax savings to which you are entitled.

Jamberry provides you access to Taxbot, an app that helps you track your business expenses

for free. To activate your free Taxbot mobile app, click on the “Add-On Tools” tab on your

workstation then “Activate” in the Taxbot box.

CONSULTANT POLICIESpolicies & proceduresWhen you signed up to be a Consultant, you agreed to the Consultant Policies and Procedures

which contain a general list of Consultant do’s and don’ts and Jamberry policies on various

subjects. If you are unsure about whether you are permitted to operate your business in a

certain way, check the Policies and Procedures in your workstation (under “Documents”)

and more likely than not your questions are addressed. If you have additional questions,

jamberry official facebook business pageConsultants may not post comments from their personal business page to the Company’s

business page. Consultants may post photos of Jamberry products, but may not link or tag

their photos on Jamberry’s business page. Consultants may not ask for or direct business to

themselves on the Jamberry business page. Spamming fans is prohibited. Negative language

will not be tolerated. Consultants in violation of these policies will be banned from the

Jamberry Facebook Fan page and could be subject to having their personal Jamberry website

suspended or terminated.

first and last name for training purposes.)
