Glass claddings

IT IS TOTALLY SAFE

IT IS ENERGY SAVER AND TIME SAVER AS PER THE CONSTRUCTION ASPECT IS CONCERNED.

THERE IS NO FLOWS OF PLASTER AND PAINT IT HAS ATTRACTIVE COLOURS

Advantage:-

Use of glass in construction work adds beauty to the building

Its use fulfils the architectural view for the external decoration and beauty

Glass is bad conductor of heat, hence it saves energy in air conditioning of building.

Glass cladding use appear a sense of openness and harmonious.

Disadvantage:-IT IS VERY COSTLY AND MAY INCREASE THE BUDGETED COST OF CONSTRUCTION WORK.

USE OF GLASS ALSO ENHANCEDS THE COST OF SECURITY .

ITS USE IN HILLY AREA AND DESERT MAY CAUSE MORE MAINTENANCE.

IT IS ALSO UNSAFE FOR EARTHQUAKE PROVEN AREA

Solid concrete block:- Solid concrete block are usually manufactured by using semi-mechanised stationary type machine . If high quality machines provided an average 600-800 blocks can be made in 8 hours by 1 skilled worker and 6-8 semi-skilled worker .Size of concrete blocks:-

1. 200x200x300mm2. 100x200x300mm3. 150x200x300mm

Machine are used to make concrete block: 1.Manual operated solid block making machine. 2.Hydraulic concrete block making. 3.Solid concrete block making machine. 4.Hydraulic egg-laying concrete.

Pavement block:- Paver block are called as interlocking concrete pavement block.Interlocking paver block are installed over a compound sub-base and leveling bed of sand.Standard thickness of paving are 60mm for light traffic ,80mm for heavy traffic and 50mm for general work.

Properties of Paver block It has good dimensional stability. It has non skid surface. It has good compressive strength. It’s water obsorption is very law and about 5%. Its average abrasion is 3mm.

Feature’s of paver blocks. Beautiful appearance. Durable and economical. Easily installed over the sand base compacted surface. It required less quantity of cement mortar and concrete for installation. Any design and shape.
