ABOUT AMCHAM HAÏTI ENERGY FAIR

AmCham Haïti Energy Fair is an event brought to you by the AmCham Haïti Energy Committee as a means to regroup our energy industry and relevant partners to share and develop strategies leading towards a more sustainable and Energy efficient future.

The energy industry as we know is very large. Amongst all commonly spoken issues, it consists of numerous sources with varying uses.

This year, on September 16, it will begin its 1st chapter by hosting a two day event: AmCham Haïti Energy Fair, at the E-Power energy production plant in Drouillard. This event will consist of an exhibition area in order for key industry players to expose their products, projects, and innovations, while providing a series of tailored conferences focusing on Electrical Energy;

MISSION

AmCham Haïti’s mission is to promote trade and investments between the United States and Haiti through free trade, free markets, and free enterprise.

OBJECTIVE

Our objective focuses on 4 main points: Rule of Law, Arbitration, Trade Facilitation and Intellectual Property Rights. We also have a strong interest in promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with our Members and with the overall private sector in the country.

AmCham Haïti serves as a reliable source of information on regional trade and investment issues, a critical point of communication between the AmChams in the region, members of the US Chamber of Commerce, and the US government. AmCham Haïti is a vehicle for companies based in the US to invest in Haiti, find partners and opportunities. We act as a coordinator of face-to-face interaction between business and government leaders in the country.
