Connectivity Solution

What is HaemoCommunicator?

Operating on a separate computer network, the HaemoCommunicator software integrates Haemonetics’ medical devices and host systems by electronically sending and translating data. After the device driver receives the message, it will then send the messages to the HIS.

How secure is the transfer?

When connected to an appropriately configured network, data that is transferred from the Cell Saver Elite+ is encrypted using AES encryption. Additionally, the solution allows configuration of the wireless connection to utilize WPA2 Personal and WPA2 Enterprise security protocols and can accept EAP-TLS, EAP-PEAP, and PSK authentication certificates.

Ethernet connection. At the conclusion of a procedure, these connections enable

the device to transfer patient, procedure and device information in standard HL7

messaging to the HIS via our HaemoCommunicator™ software application.

■ Installs HaemoCommunicator Core and applicable drivers remotely onto your permanent hardware

■ Partners with your internal IT department and provides the necessary specifications, as you complete the connection to your Hospital Information System via an interface engine

■ Manages communication between both parties through the conclusion of the project
