March is National Nutrition Month and our Food & Nutrition experts are planning fun educational opportunities for residents. Although we always provide healthy choices for our residents, National Nutrition Month is a great time to focus on the importance of making informed choices about the foods we eat. Every week in March, our Food & Nutrition staff will feature a special entrée for all to enjoy. One week, residents also may sign up for a healthy eat-in featuring salmon. To share information about good nutrition and its benefits, the staff will present fun trivia and facts, cross-word puzzles, word searches and a “Nutrition Bingo” game for residents. Our clinical nutrition staff is always available to answer your questions. If you have questions about nutrition choices, please contact Nancy Scovil, DTR. They will be happy to help you!
