St. John of God - Patron Saint of the Sick, Hospitals & Nurses
Margaret Franz, Liturgical Ministry Coordinator 788-7640 or [email protected]
Here at Holy Spirit Parish at our Darboy campus we are privileged to have a relic of St. John of God entombed in our new Altar. We will be celebrating non-public Mass in that church which will be a livestream webcast for our regular daily Masses & Our Sunday Masses. It is very comforting during this public health emergency that part of our daily prayer will be seeking his intercession for the safety of our healthcare workers and a swift return to normalcy.

FINANCE COUNCIL Article by: Jonathan Probst, Finance Council Committee Member Bishop’s Appeal
Many parishioners have asked what their gift to the Bishop’s Appeal goes toward and what it supports.
Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal helps Catholic Charities reach out to people in need by providing individual and family counseling. Catholic Charities teaches people financial responsibility, provides adoption and pregnancy counseling to birth parents and adoptive parents, guides individuals with unplanned pregnancies and offers other counseling services.
Your gift brings faith formation to people of all ages. Parishes and Catholic schools are able to provide strong religious curriculum, train educators and youth leaders and supports Camp Tekakwitha summer camp.
Within parishes, your gift assists in training and supporting pastoral ministers, parish staff, deacons and lay ministers. It supports outreach ministries, adult faith formation, and campus ministries for young adults. These are just a few ways your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal makes a difference.
Our Parish’s goal is $94,718 for 2020. Your gift to the Bishop’s Appeal helps us build vibrant parishes and share the Gospel throughout northeastern Wisconsin.

BISHOP’S APPEAL Reaches $4.1 Million Dear Friends,
As we keep all people affected by COVID-19 in our prayers, please know how grateful I am for your support of the Bishop’s Appeal. The Appeal continues to grow and has raised more than $4,150,000 from 19,115 families who are vibrant examples of discipleship. Now more than ever these funds raised with help ministries serving families and individuals who are struggling in our parishes and communities.
During this time of uncertainty we are so very grateful to everyone who generously supports the Appeal through gifts and prayers. If you have any gifts to the Bishop’s Appeal that were given at the parish, please forward them onto the Catholic Foundation. This will help in making sure these families do not receive a follow-up mailing.
Thank you again for all your support of the Bishop’s Appeal. If you have any questions, please email me or call me at 920.272.8123.
Blessings,
Tammy Danz
