It has been a great year at Endeavor Charter School! This year our stu- dents have enjoyed wonder- ful experiences as they “learned by doing!” Our athletes won conference and tournament titles, our band won accolades at a State festival, and our ac- tors put on three fantastic performances of Peter Pan. Our students enjoyed several cultural arts perfor- mances and assemblies about bullying, social me- dia, and leadership. Stu- dents learned from thirty on-site or off-site field trips. Our students read thousands of books, devel- oped thousands of written responses and solved tens of thousands of math prob- lems. As a community we enjoyed the return of the Family Fun Fest and Boosterthon. Endeavor’s parent community learned at our Curriculum Night, quarterly Mane Event meetings and our new Town Hall Meeting. Many attended our combination Art Show and Book Fair and enjoyed all it had to offer! Many parents volun- teered at quarterly Do Dads workdays and sent in donations for Terracycle, Giving Tree, and Box Tops. Our parents served count- less days of lunch and re- cess duty responsibilities. This year also saw the in- troduction of our Annual Fund, a necessity to main- tain the quality of our pro- gram and small class sizes within the challenges of public school fund- ing. Your donations this year made a difference in the opportunities we were able to provide our stu- dents! The flexibility the Annual Fund provided al- lowed ECS to replace and upgrade the computer labs while adding iPad and Kin- dle labs. This financial “wiggle room” let us begin steps toward better mainte- nance of our beautiful building and property. We appreciate the trust you put in us every day. We also appreciate the efforts you make in giving your time, your good will and your financial support. To- gether we continue to make ECS one of the best schools in the state of North Caro- lina! ECS Exceeds Goal, Raises $102,166 for the Annual Fund!

WE DID IT!! Together,

we've raised over $100,000

for this year's Annual

Fund! Gifts were received

from parents, grandpar-

ents, family members, busi-

nesses, corporate matching

programs and foundations.

The Annual Fund was also

supported with proceeds

from The Family Fun Fest.

In reaching this year’s goal,

Endeavor can look ahead

with confidence that the

Annual Fund will supple-

ment its funding from the

state. The Annual Fund

keeps Endeavor’s class size

small and provides greater

flexibility when Endeavor pur-

chases classroom resources,

textbooks and technology for

our students and teach-

ers. Your generous support of

the Annual Fund will help

maintain Endeavor's high-

quality program each year!

Our goal in PAWS this year was to

“Endeavor to Grow”…and grow

we did! What better way to meas-

ure our growth, than to look at the

NUMBERS!

265 families joined PAWS!

• Our phenomenal Café Days

Crew served over 53,588 lunch-

es.

• The Box Tops Team cut and

counted over 21,500 box tops.

• The Terracycle Team turned

1375 pounds of trash back into

to cash!

• There have been over 1300 photos

taken by the Yearbook Bunch.

• The Cultural Arts Troupe hung

over 700 masterpieces at the Art

Show.

• Endeavor earned $850 from the

Giving Tree with 105 donation

credits.

The wonderful thing about growth is

there is no need to stop! As we get

ready to embark on our 10th anniver-

sary at Endeavor Charter School, the

sky is the limit. Thank you ECS fami-

lies for your continued support of our
