Call Us (650) 355-4122 HOME ABOUT US CALENDAR MEMBER DIRECTORY JOIN ABOUT PACIFICA PRESS MEMBER LOGIN CONTACT FEB 7, 2014 0 COMMENTS The Pacifica Chamber of Commerce hosted their Annual Awards Ceremony and Installation Dinner on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Moonraker Restaurant’s Farallon Room. It was a sold out house as all gathered to honor local businesses, ten awards, for their community commitment. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was our own State Assemblymember Kevin Mullin. Also in attendance were County Supervisor Don Horsley and representatives from Congresswoman Jackie Speier, and State Senator Jerry Hill’s office. All honorees were awarded certificates of recognition from these political offices. The hignlight of the evening was the official changing of the Cobalt Lifetime Achievement Award to the Nick and Lorraine Gust Lifetime Achievement Award in honor of the passing of local icon Nick Gust. The first reciepient was Nick's son Chuck Gust who now runs the family business, Nick's Restaurant in Rockaway Beach.
