Fielding TWO teams this year - we've created a fun place for young skaters to skate with their friends and learn great teamwork! In August, our Junior team had an amazing time working with guest coach, Helena Tienhaara, from the World Synchro Bronze Medalist team, Finland's Rockettes. She helped create our dramatic freeskate program to "Snow White and the Huntsman" which is a great contrast to our cooky short program to the music from "The Simpsons”

In addition, we had the honor of participating again in the Grand Opening of the outdoor ice rink - ICE at Santa Monica! Skating under the stars, just blocks from the ocean, in November is an incredibly unique experience that would be the envy of any East Coast skater!! It  takes  a  village…Did  you  know  that  we  have  dedicated  volunteers  who  spend  over  40  hours  a  week  during  and  leading  up  to  our  competitions?    

They  attend  to  details  such  as:  • scheduling  • practice  ice  • of@icials’  and  coaches’  hospitality                                        .  .  .  and  more  

Just  a  few  extra  hands  for  a  few  hours  helps  A  LOT!      

Especially  in  the  climate  in  which  our  events  take  place.    

Did  you  know  that  monitors  get  the  best  seats  in  the  house?    Music  technicians  and  announcers  know  who  is  skating  and  when,  registration  volunteers  get  to  see  everyone  who  walks  in  and  out  and  really  get  to  sense  the  heartbeat  of  the  event.  If  you  love  to  hostess  and  organize,  hospitality  is  for  you!      

Please  take  a  moment  to  think  about  your  gifts  and  areas  of  expertise,  and  how  can  you  help  your  club  by  doing  something  you  enjoy.

All Year FSC Home Club Membership Benefits • Membership in All Year FSC and a privilege to skate on Club Ice sessions, in exhibitions, special events and participate in any U.S. Figure Skating Competition* • Member pricing for test sessions • Participation in any Club social functions • Includes U.S. Figure Skating membership and a subscription to SKATING Magazine (one per family)** • Coverage under U.S. Figure Skating sports accident insurance policy • All Year FSC Newsletter

2014-15 MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Bridge Membership – $30 First time/one-time only membership for individual skaters who are registered Basic Skills members and are planning to test and/or compete at any and all U.S. Figure Skating levels. Applicants at this level must provide Basic Skills registration number to be eligible. Full membership voting rights. Additional family members can join for additional $20 each.

Introductory Membership – $45 First time/one-time only membership for individual skaters who have never been members of U.S. Figure Skating and plan on testing and/or competing at any and all U.S. Figure Skating levels. Full membership voting rights. Additional family members can join for additional $35 each.

Home Club Membership – $100 Membership for individual skaters who test and/or compete at any and all U.S. Figure Skating levels. Full membership voting rights.Additional family members (ie: siblings) can join for additional $80 each. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) – $35 each. See details under Parent/Guardian Membership.

Parent/Guardian Membership – $35 Membership for parent(s)/guardian(s) of a Home Club or Second Club member skater. Parent/guardian can be a skater or a non-skater. Includes full membership voting rights. Ideal for either a parent/guardian & child member whom both skate, or for parent(s)/guardian(s) of a member skater who wish to be members to support our Club and U.S. Figure Skating. Additional family members (ie: siblings) can join for additional $80 each.

Second Club Membership – $50 Membership for individual skaters who test and/or compete at any and all U.S. Figure Skating levels and belong to a home club other than All Year FSC. Includes club privileges other than home club status. Parent(s)/Guardian(s) – $35 each. See details under Parent/Guardian Membership. Additional family members (ie: siblings) can join for additional $40 each.**Does not include additional SKATING Magazine subscription. Your subscription is included in membership with your home club.

Coach Membership – $70 Membership for coaches; requires U.S. Figure Skating clearance and compliance. Full membership voting rights.** Coaches – Additional information on USFS/PSA requirements **

Associate Membership – $65 For persons who will have all club membership privileges *except no skating privileges such as skating on club sessions, in events, testing and/or competing; ideal for relatives and friends who wish to support All Year FSC and US Figure Skating in honor of a particular skater. Full membership voting rights.
