1. How do I find out what dates are available? Please call or email us for available dates – Graeagle Land & Water Co. at (530) 836-2523, or email venues@PlayGraeagle.com 2. Can I make an appointment to view the Graeagle Corner Barn venue? Yes. Please call to schedule an appointment. Our regular business hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We can also arrange to view the Barn on Saturday or Sunday. 3. What is included in the rental fee? Are there extra fees? Site Rental Package Includes:

• 5,716 sq. ft. barn with 32’ high ceilings

• Capacity: seated 381; standing 814

• 6 propane heaters

• 250 white chairs

• 240 brown folding chairs

• 30 - 3x8 tables

• 12 five-foot round tables

•12 -55gallon wine barrels

• 2 - 44 gallon metal watering troughs

• 3 options for ceremony areas

• On-site parking

• Restrooms (Men’s & Women’s)

• Tack Bar - outdoor beverage service

area

• Dumpster provided on-site

• 2 flat screen TVs with HDMI cables

The Corner Barn can accommodate 381 for sit down dinner inside the barn and up to 814 people for standing and theater seating. Extra fees will include event insurance in addition to your catering, décor, linens, etc. 4. What time is the barn available to the wedding party? The Graeagle Corner Barn rental covers 3 days! Rental starts on Friday at 8 am and ends on Sunday at 5 PM 5. How do I reserve a date? We can reserve a tentative date for one week. We require a signed Rental Agreement along with a deposit to reserve the date on our calendar. 6. Is there an outdoor ceremony area? Yes, there are three outdoor ceremony areas. A. There is an outdoor ceremony area in a groomed wooded area behind the Barn. B. Directly behind the barn, there is a large grass section with pavers. C. The interior of the barn can make a great rainy-day backup plan. We also have other ceremony venues available in the Graeagle area such as the Graeagle Meadows Golf Course, Whitehawk Ranch Golf Course, Graeagle Park, and Graeagle Millpond

(there is an additional charge for non-Barn venues). 7. What is the capacity of the barn? Capacity – Seats 381, Standing 814 in theatre setting. 8. What catering choices are available? The guest renting the barn is responsible for arranging catering. Please see the vendor list for local information. 9. Do you have a bridal changing room? No. Please see the vendor list for local options – Mohawk Community Resource Center is next door to the Barn. 10. What are the parking options? There is a parking lot adjacent to the Barn. 11. Do you provide a shuttle service? No. Please see our vendor list for local information. 12. What happens if it rains, if I am planning an outside wedding? The ceremony and reception can both be held inside the barn at any time. You can create an alternate floor plan if the ceremony has to be moved indoors. 13. Are we able to choose our own outside vendors or do we have to use your list? With the exception of lighting/decor above 11 feet, all vendor options such as catering, beverages, decorations, etc. are up to you. We do provide a list of local vendor ‘services’ for information only. 14. Can I hang my own lighting? Due to insurance reasons and the safety of our customers and your guests, you are permitted

to hang lighting, fabric, and decorations only up to the loft height (eleven feet and below). For

any lighting, fabric and other decoration above eleven feet, (loft height) we require the use of

our contracted lighting company.

15. Do you have refrigeration storage for flowers / cake? There is a refrigerator in the back storage area. Please see the vendor list for additional local options – Mohawk Community Resource Center is next door to the Barn if more refrigeration is needed. 16. Is the Barn decorated? What are the restrictions regarding decorations? The barn has a single string of decorative lights hung under the eaves on each side of the Barn. All other lighting and decorations are up to your imagination or see our vendor list for local information.

17. Is there water at the Graeagle Corner Barn? The Tack Bar has a small bar sink. There is also a spigot near the restrooms. 18. Does the Barn have heating or air conditioning? The barn comes with 6 propane heaters but does not have air conditioning; the barn doors can be opened at the front and back of the barn. There are also windows (with screens) that open. 19. How do I obtain a marriage license in Plumas County?

A marriage license must be obtained within 90 day of the wedding date. Both parties must be present to obtain a marriage license. Please bring a photo ID and $60. Monday- Friday 8am-5pm. Restrictions: No silly string, glitter, or sparklers allowed inside or outside the Barn. Candles must be battery. Please be advised that due to high fire danger in the Plumas National Forest open flames are strictly prohibited. Help protect our forests.

Please Note: Wine, silly string, flower petals, dark food, frosting and other substances can stain the barn’s concrete floor and the damage deposit will used accordingly for stain removal. For weddings we request wild birdseed, lavender florets or bubbles be thrown in lieu of rice.

GRAEAGLE is located just one hour from Reno via Highway 395 and State Route 70, or one

hour from Truckee-North Lake Tahoe via Highway 89.

If you’re traveling from Sacramento/Truckee direction: At I-80 in Truckee exit 89 North

(Loyalton) when you get into Sierraville, turn left onto Hwy 49/89. Just past Satley stay right at

the “y” entering back onto Highway 89. Graeagle will be about 20 minutes further from here.

(Total 45 minutes from Truckee to Graeagle).

If you’re traveling from Quincy, Chico, Oroville — Feather River Canyon: Hwy 70 East, pass

thru town of Quincy (another 30 minutes), turn right onto Hwy 89 South (Big white barn on right

corner) approximately one mile into town of Graeagle.

If you’re traveling from Reno, NV: Take Hwy 395 North (towards Susanville); exit 30 minutes

out of Reno at Hwy 70 (Hallelujah Junction). Go West on Hwy 70 another 30 minutes thru

Portola, then turn left at Hwy 89 (big White Barn at corner) approximately one mile into town of

Graeagle.
