Food Desert:A district with little to no
access to fresh food that is vital to maintaining health.
In a food desert, people
Often do not have access to full grocery stores
Turn instead to quick markets that sell inexpensive, processed food
Frequently eat at chain fast food restaurants
Gain weight due to high calorie & fat content in non-fresh foods
Suffer from illness due to lack of nutrients

The ability to handle emotions like stress, anger, and sadness
