Information about this guide
This is a simple, straightforward guide to configuring your Dolby® Conference Phone 3.0.x for use with Unify OpenScape Enterprise Express 8.0.x.
This guide presumes an enterprise network environment and does not cover provisioning of the service.
Prerequisites
Take a look at what is required in this section and have that information available before you start. Read the appropriate Unify OpenScape Enterprise Express documentation for information on specific network requirements.
Note: Your local system administrator can provide these details.
You will need to know the following before you can complete the steps outlined in this document:
• Credentials for authenticating the Dolby Conference Phone with the Unify server:
o Subscriber user name
o Subscriber password
• The subscriber directory number assigned to the Dolby Conference Phone.
• IP addresses for the following:
o Primary Unify OpenScape Enterprise Express Platform server
o Secondary Unify OpenScape Enterprise Express Platform server
Note: Network Address Translation (NAT) is not supported by the Dolby Conference Phone. Therefore, the Unify OpenScape Enterprise Express Platform servers should be on the same side of the organization firewall as the Dolby Conference Phones.

Adding a new subscriber
You must add a new subscriber in order to set up a SIP phone extension/account for the Dolby Conference Phone.
To create a new subscriber: 1. Log in to the Unify Common Management Platform with the appropriate credentials.
2. Click OpenScape Voice.
3. On the OpenScape Voice page, click Business Group.

4. Select the branch office from the drop-‐down menu.
5. Select Members > Subscribers and then click Add.

6. Complete the subscriber information. a. Click Directory Number and select the number from the display.
b. Set the type of number: public or private. c. Select the time zone and language. d. Set External Caller ID and Display Name, or leave at default setting. e. Specify appropriate routing information and attributes.
7. Verify and update the Connection settings.
a. Select the Type (i.e., dynamic, static). b. Select the Transport Protocol. c. Select the Associated Endpoint.

8. Update the Security settings.
a. Enter the Realm; in the example above, it is dolby-‐labs. b. Enter the User Name. c. Enter the Password. d. Confirm the Password.
9. Add a Feature Profile for your new subscriber and check the appropriate settings.
10. Add accounting information, as shown.
11. Click Save to save all your changes.

Registering the Dolby Conference Phone to Unify OpenScape Enterprise Express
Note: The following procedure uses the web interface.
1. Log in the web user interface with the device IP address (for example, https://a.b.c.d).
2. Enter the default credentials: • Username = admin • Password = 1739
3. Select Settings > IP PBX Settings > Account.
4. Change the Account settings as shown: • Display Name: Dolby Voice (but you can rename this to anything that
makes sense for your organization) • Extension Number/Address: Extension number (mandatory) • Display Number: Extension number • Transport Type: Auto (works with TCP and UDP) • Secure Media: Mandatory

• Transport Port: 5060
5. Next, change the Server settings as shown: • Primary Call Server/Outbound Proxy: IP address of your OSS
(Common Management Platform) • Primary Server/Outbound Proxy port: 5060 • Optional: If you have a secondary (failover) server available, enter
the details in the Secondary Call Server/Outbound Proxy field • Set Transport Type to match your selection in the Connection
settings of the previous procedure
Note: Ensure you are adding the correct Primary/Secondary account details.
6. Update the credentials (these settings are mandatory for digest authentication): a. Enter the Subscriber User Name in the User Credential Name field. b. Enter the Communication Profile password you created in the User Credential Password.
c. Enter the Server realm you created or add an *(Asterisk) to cover any string for this field.

7. Confirm the password and Save. If the information entered is correct, the phone registers with the Session Manager.
8. To verify the registration, go to Status > System > Device (see the image on the next page for an example).
