Ethnic Minority Youth: Drugs, gang and street life 3
Welcome
We are happy to welcome you to the international conference Ethnic minority youth, drugs, gangs and street life, at the Centre for Alcohol and Drug Research, Aarhus University, Denmark. 29 September – 1 October 2015.
We are delighted to be hosting the conference and believe that the range of papers that have been submitted and accepted will lead to two and half days of inspiring discussions. We are also very pleased that we have been able to have a range of plenary presenters representing different countries, different interests and different theoreti-cal approaches. We are confident that our bringing together researchers from a number of different social science fields will lead to a most stimulating discussion on issues of ethnicity, ethnic minority youth, drug use and other substances.
We hope that the presentations will add greatly to the existing research and will encourage new developments in ethnicity theory and empirical research.
After the conference, the journal Drugs: education, prevention and policy will publish a special issue featuring a number of selected papers from the conference.
We hope that you will enjoy the conference.
