Conditions of service and preventative measures established due to Covid-19 We would like to inform our guests about the newly introduced terms of service and preventative measures in place with regards to Covid-19 prior to confirmation of their hotel reservation in order to ensure their acceptance of the said conditions. This involves a range of good practices included in the health and safety protocols at Hipotels which are designed to guarantee the health and wellbeing of both our clients and staff.

We would like to inform our guests about the newly introduced terms of service and preventative measures in place with regards to Covid-19 prior to confirmation of their hotel reservation in order to ensure their acceptance of the said conditions.

This involves a range of good practices included in the health and safety protocols at Hipotels which are designed to guarantee the health and wellbeing of both our clients and staff.

Floor markings are in place in areas where crowding may occur to ensure a safe distance is maintained.

Capacity in public areas has been reduced in order to maintain safe social distancing measures.

Everyone over the age of 6 must wear a face covering at all times, except for the time strictly necessary to eat or drink.

Face coverings must be worn outside wherever crowds may form and a safe distance of 1.5m from others is not possible, except for your own household.

Lifts must not be shared by people from different family units.

General—

Social distancing measures must be adhered to at all times by people from different households.

Public areas have hand sanitiser available for clients to use. Hands must be disinfected whenever indicated upon entering areas such as reception, dining room, bar, lounges, etc.

Smoking is prohibited in the street or open-air spaces whenever it is impossible to maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres from other people.

MallorcaSmoking of tobacco on public terraces, pathways or at the poolside solarium is also prohibited, and as well when walking around the hotel grounds.

Reception—

Pre Check-in has been established for all bookings to avoid waiting at reception as far as is possible.

New Check-in and Check-Out times:

For safety reasons, rooms are cleaned and disinfected without the presence of customers and in accordance with Diversey’s cleaning plans and products.

Rooms—

Non-essential items such as decorative objects, magazines, leaflets and laundry bags (please contact reception if you require this service) have been removed from all rooms. Amenities have been reduced to shower gel and shampoo.

Indoor pools, gyms, saunas, Turkish baths and spas will remain open with the legally established capacity for each area.

Spa, Gym & Pool—

Capacity has been reduced to ensure social distancing is maintained.

Loungers have been separated to maintain a safe distance and are disinfected on a daily basis.

The machines have been relocated in order to maintain a safe distance between each one and must be disinfected before and after each use.

The hotel has digital menus available that are accessed via a QR code.

Bars & Restaurants—

Clients must sanitise their hands before entering and may only remove their face coverings (this also applies to children aged 6 years and over) for the length of time necessary to consume food or drinks.

Elements such as menus, cruet sets and decorative items that could be handled by different clients have been removed from the tables.

The buffet service is still operative and show cooking as well as individual portions and packets have been increased.

Children under 12 are not allowed in the dining room unless accompanied by an adult.

Table capacity is dependent upon current legislation.

Clients cannot make arbitrary use of tables and chairs. Orders will be taken and served with clients seated at the table.

Requests from clients seated at tables other than those assigned to each waiter will not be admitted.

Bar service and bar seating in accordance with current legislation.

Bar opening hours will be adapted as necessary in order to comply with current legislation.

Entertainment—

Children’s play areas / Miniclub

Entertainment activities will be designed and planned in such a way as to allow the hotel to con-trol capacities and respect social distancing guidelines.

Outdoor physical activity not involving contact, including excursions, is permitted in groups, in accordance with current legislation.

The normal cleaning schedule at the children’s clubs will be increased, as much in the play areas as the facilities themselves.

Handwashing and sanitiser are compulsory at the entrance to the play areas. Members of staff that are responsible for the care of the children will be paying particular attention to their personal hygiene standards with frequent handwashing and disinfection of hands.

Material used in the entertainment activities will be disinfected after every use.

Capacity levels and occupancy in accordance with current legislation.
