• Due to recent mandatory changes by TSA, self-audits must be completed by
tenants who are in possession of Prohibited Items in the Sterile Area.
• Audits must be completed and logged no less than three times daily; once at
the beginning of operations, once at the mid-point, and once at the end of
operations.
• If a Prohibited Item cannot be located or accounted for, Airport Security
must be notified immediately at (303)-342-4210.
• All items must be physically accounted for and the audit sheet must be
signed by the individual who performed the audit.
• Audit records must be retained for a minimum of 90 days and must be
available for review to Airport Security or TSA at any time.

• Keep all items in one location when not in use, preferably a locked
container in a secure location. If items are stored in a drawer or cabinet,
ensure that it is locked at all times unless the Prohibited Item is in use.
• Keep all audit sheets in a binder with the Approved Master List and
Prohibited Items Security Statement.
• It is strongly recommended that one point of contact takes primary
responsibility for the auditing and logging of Prohibited Items.
• Remove unnecessary prohibited items, or replace with a different non-
prohibited item.
