Concept map was designed from information gathered during a 25 minute interview
Interviewee is a 26 year old male certified as a personal trainer
Interviewee has been intensely weight lifting for approximately 8 years and has been a
certified personal trainer for approximately four months
Summary:
Designing a fitness program begins with a thorough and detailed interview
Diet, pace, and activities as the core for building a personalized fitness program
These three core components are highly influenced by several factors, including
posture, goals, and current fitness level.
Some physical assessments need to be done in order to determine posture
Patience throughout the interview process is crucial for a proper assessment
In order for success, the trainee needs to agree on the fitness program
If the trainee does not agree on the fitness program, the trainer needs to go back
through the interview process to determine if any information was missed
