0The 180 Degree Rule ensures there is a directional consistency from shot to shot.

0 When framing a shot the person filming should consider these imaginary lines shown in the picture below by preferably placing the centre of the subject on one of the four intersecting points or on one of the lines.

Depth of Field

0 The depth of field is the amount of distance between the nearest and farthest objects that appear in acceptably sharp focus in the shot.

Deep and Shallow focus

0 Deep focus is a technique which is used to incorporate a large depth of field so the middle ground and background are all in focus and clear.

0 Shallow focus is a just the opposite of deep focus.
