Dual Church for HaitiA Christian and A Voodoo Church

In a city of debris;

On the ruins of the Christian Cathedral in the city of Port au Prince, a church for Haitian Voodoo is built with an architectural language of slams: wicked, whoopee, and spontaneous;

The cathedral is wicked by the fallen choir and south transept. Without the rose window the architecture loses its symbolic mean-ing. It is invaded by the lights and shadows created by the wooden frame structure of the voodoo church. They scored a mixture of

‘Christian spaces’ and ‘Voodoo spaces’ on the ground.
