•The Competency Navigator is a world first web enabled diagnostic tool that
collects and analyses information on staff skills and competencies
•The user is guided through a series of screens that matches their skills to
best fit nationally accredited qualifications.
•Determining what needs to be assessed is a first step in the recognition
process.
•Offering recognition up front at enrolment is a natural place to start.
The Competency Navigator prepares users for engagement with
Registered Training Organisations – enrolment through recognition
Additionally:
•It is used by RTOs to assist them to work with their industry clients
•It is used for internal (VET) workforce development and planning
•It is used by Skills Stores in 4 states, including Victoria
