CHERRY

Natural cherry comes in a variety of tones, anywhere from a

light golden or caramel tone to pinkish tones. Over time as

it is exposed to light, cherry develops a beautiful warm,

reddish brown tone that lasers well for engraving.

OAK

Oak tones can range from nearly white to a reddish brown.

The grain of oak is typically straight with a coarse, uneven

texture. Please note: This particular wood grain can cause

uneven engraving.

WALNUT

Walnut is our darkest wood. It can vary from a pale brown

to a dark, chocolate color brown, usually with darker brown

streaks in it. Some of the walnut may have a grey, purple,

or reddish cast to it. Walnut also lasers well for engraving.

MAPLE

Ranges in color from a creamy white, yellow/tan, to a slight

reddish brown tone. It is excellent for laser engraving.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT URNS

How long does it take to get my urn?

Urn orders usually arrive between 7 to 10 business days from the time the order is placed.

If my pet’s weight is the same as or close to the weight in the urn catalog should I order a size up?

Yes, if your pet’s weight is within 5 lbs. of the weight range, please order the next size up.

Can you hold my pet’s cremains until my urn order arrives?

We are happy to hold cremains and any other items ordered you might have until you are ready to receive

them.

Can you transfer my pet’s cremains into the new urn for me?

We are happy to transfer cremains for you.

Can you ship my urn to me?

Yes, shipping and handling charges may apply. Please contact our crematory at 503.379.1292 for more in-

formation.

How is my pet’s urn sealed?

Most of our urns are semi-permanently sealed by screws that hold the base, with an access panel on the urn

or by a threaded lid. This allows you to re-open the urn at a later date if you wish.

How do I order an urn?

You can either email us at compassionatecarecrematory@gmail.com or call us at 503.379.1292 and one of

our crematory staff can assist you. Please leave your desired urn style, color and size of urn choice. For en-

graving, please let us know your desired font choice and the text you would like engraved.
