STAGES OF PROCESS FOR CERTIFICATION
1. FLO POS become COMPASS Certification Trainers using a train the trainer model (Common PowerPoint)
2. Community Providers identify key Case Managers to become COMPASS Diagnostic Test facilitators
3. Identified Case Managers attend training session/s delivered by Flexible Learning Team members
4. During the training participants demonstrate how they do the Gatepost Test and complete at least one test
5. FLT Members have the ICAN State Login (80223489) and can review the tests immediately
6. Participants review results and discuss possible recommendations in response to results
7. FLT Members certify participant8. Central Office create a register of names of the certified

The DATA we (ICAN) will collect from Compass Testing of students
needs to be kept separate from any trials and accreditation usage.
Therefore: Any generation of login’s for specific trial’s,
Workshop training or accreditation of facilitators needs to be done
with one specific number:
80223489Once you have requested logins
they will be sent via ACER to Thea [email protected]
and she will disseminate these back to appropriate requesting
regional ASO2’s for distribution.

To support the development of the young person, it is in the best interests of all if the student is permitted to complete the test without assistance.
To prepare the student by:
• clarifying the importance of the test for growth and success • explain the format• 30 questions, • multiple choice, • visual cues and information, • no tricks• can come in and out*• If students want to stop, work with them to examine why and try to support continued motivation
