COMPARATIVES Short adjectives-Adjectives of just one syllable form the comparative by adding "-
er":
Bright … brighter
Clear … clearer
Fast … faster
-If a one syllable adjective ends in "e", simply add "r":
Nice … nicer
Fine … finer
Ripe … riper
-For some adjectives, it is necessary to double the last letter before adding "-er".
Big … bigger
Slim … slimmer
Flat … flatter
-If the adjective has got two syllables and finish with “-y” we said that it is short. And we change “-y” for “–i” and we add “–er”.
Happy … happier
Funny … funnier
Easy …easier
-Adjectives of two syllables are more complicated. Most adjectives of two syllables form the comparative with "more":
Famous …more famous
Thankful … more thankful
Boring …more boring

Long adjectives-All adjectives of three or more syllables form the comparative with

De superioridad.-we use more… than in longs and add –er than in
shortss. She is faster than me.l. Shoes are more expensive than sandals.
De igualdad. - we use as + adjective*+ asJohn is as tall as you.

Form superlative forms of a one-syllable adjective by adding –est.
Tall…tallest
Old…oldest
Long…longest
With most two-syllable adjectives, you form the superlative with the most.
Peaceful…the most peaceful
Pleasant...the most pleasant
Careful…the most careful
Thoughtful…the most thoughtful
