STANDARD RANGE OF MODULES

Offered in two widths and a variety of lengths, our successfully tested blast-resistant mod-ules can be configured to create virtually any structure you need.

LeaseFleet standard range includes units of two specific widths: 8ft and 12ft.

Our space-saving, life-saving 8ft wide blast-re-sistant modules are the perfect option when a crowded job site leaves you in a tight spot. Options include our 8’ x 10’ Guard Shack, 8’ x 20’ Open Floor, 8’ x 40’ Open Floor, and 8’ x 40’ Tool Crib.

If you need to go bigger, our 12ft wide blast-resis-tant modules give you the space you want and the safety you need. The range includes various options of a 12’ x 40’ module: Open Floor, One & Two Walls, One Wall & Restroom, Restroom, Multi-Section and Centre Section.

If you need to go even bigger, our multi-section blast-resistant modules are the answer. Con-structed by combining any of our standard 12ft wide modular buildings, these multi-section structures can grow from 24ft to 48ft wide and beyond to meet your unique site needs and proj-ect requirements.

CERTIFICATIONEngineered to our industry-leading safety specifications, each of our blast-resistant modules adheres to API RP 752 and 753 guidelines and applies a proven, successfully blast tested design. In addition, RedGuard Specialist Services will only build to a low or medium response rating (low or medium damage), as specified by the American Society of Civil Engineers to provide proven protection and increased peace of mind.

Our quality assurance process requires us to work in accordance to approved specifications, procedures and practices, monitor their implementation, measure performances at planned intervals and make suitable changes to the processes in order to enable continuous improvement of the quality of products and services we deliver.

We also hold national and international certification which verify that our products and services meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Custom made units with designs specific to your requirements can also be certified by any of the major Third Party Surveyors – DNV, Lloyd’s, USCG, ABS, BV, Genesis Oil and Gas, or others.

While blast pressure is a key component of a blast-resistant building’s design formula, it is the combination of that pressure and duration and response-level that tell the full story of how a blast-resistant building will hold up to an explosion.

If the manufacturer you are considering has not performed a successful live field blast test, we strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

At RedGuard Specialist Services, we can never overstate the importance of blast testing. Engineered to our industry-leading safety specifications, each of our blast-resistant modules adheres to the requirements of API RP 753 and API RP 752 and applies a proven, successfully blast tested design.

Our successful blast test (video and printed results available upon request) was conducted by detonating an explosive charge a set distance from the building being tested. The entire process was filmed by a high-speed camera and afterward, the footage, as well as the building’s interior, exterior and structure, were closely examined to determine any damage. In addition, measurements were taken to see how much the entire building shifted during the test.

UNDERSTANDING RESPONSE LEVELS

Understanding response levels is a critical component in selecting the right blast-resistant modular building, unfortunately it can also be somewhat misleading.

While it’s natural to assume that a building given a “high response” rating would stand up well to a blast and offer a high level of protection, in reality the opposite is true. When comparing blast-resistant modules, it is generally a good idea to always replace “response level” with “damage level.”

LOW Localized component damage. Building can be used, however repairs are required to restore the integrity of structural envelope.

MEDIUM Widespread component damage. Building should not be occupied until repaired.
