Milieu Landscape Design is an award winning Chartered Landscape Architecture

practice based in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire, with projects across the UK. Established

in 2009 following the transfer of the landscape team from Bureau Veritas, we recently

celebrated our 10th anniversary, but the company’s origins date back to 1983 when Ian

Clare opened the first office in Liverpool. In 2019 Chris Forshaw CMLI succeeded Ian as

Company Director.

Our small dedicated team continues to provide a wide range of landscape services in

many areas, including the growing retirement and holiday sectors. Additionally, we have

been lucky enough to be part of a team of professionals assisting Edge Hill University

in Ormskirk in the development of its award-winning campus. With experience across

a broad range of landscape topics, and particular skills in sports developments, social

housing, historic landscapes and landscape planning, as well as additional skills in SUDS,

3D visualisation and more recently BIM.

solid as ever, as does our belief in a sustainable future based on good design and strong

partnerships.
