1. OVERVIEW

Halcons Ltd was incorporated in Uganda in 2011

Halcons Ltd has a humble beginning with a steady growth and has managed to attain its goals in a very short span of time.

Halcons is the brain child of Two dynamic and determined entrepreneurs, who with there experience and end less efforts have single handedly set up and established a successful running model although in its early stages, its steadily attaining all its goals while expanding on its capacity.

The company has ambitious plans to build upon a reputation for Civil engineering and Construction; with heart to produce excellent high quality products by diversifying into areas of manufacture of various construction materials to meet the regions’ sustained demand for construction materials such as blocks, pavers, road slabs, curb stones, culverts

The company’s operations involve construction services headed by young and

dynamic expertise packed with several diversified skills in carpentry, Fabrication, Aluminum works among others.

Over the few year of its existence, we have achieved and successfully completed multiple projects and have grown our teams in all aspects.

DESCRIPTION OF COMPANY’S ACTIVITIES

HALCONS LTD is an engineering firm involved in delivery of the following services:

Planning of Engineering projects. Construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of such structures as buildings, paved

and unpaved roads, bridges, waterways and water works, water supplies and sewerage systems, earth dams, valley tanks and other water supplies and sewerage systems, earth dams, valley tanks and other water impounding and flood control structures.

Electro-Mechanical works systems. Production of building materials – building blocks, reinforced concrete pipe

culverts, kerb-stones, pavers and other materials placed on order Consultancy and construction cost management Provision of transport and equipment hire services. Joinery and Fabrication Works. Producers of concrete products. Aluminum works and interior designs. Among others

The Company was registered in December 2011 but has been in the construction business long before that and it mainly subcontracted all the contracts gotten by HALAI HOLDINGS Ltd since 2006; as shown by the various agreements between the two parties on the various projects.

OVER VIEW OF HALAI HOLDINGS LTD.

Halai Holdings was incorporated in Uganda in January 2006 and poses an Investment License from the Uganda Investment Authority. Its primary business is of quarrying and production of stone aggregate and construction related activities

The Quarrying works are based about 25km from Kampala and 2km from the Kampala Jinja high way in the village of Nanagwa, on block 198 plot 144 east Buganda in Mukono district. With the close proximity of the Quarry to Uganda’s two main towns Kampala and Jinja the quarry boosts of the reasonable proximity to its customers.

The quarry rock from which the materials are produced has high strength, durable, with high physiochemical durability and a good bitumen affinity. It has been certified by the ministry of works housing and communications (MOWHC) as being suitable for producing materials for different types of construction.

The company’s secondary operations involve plant hire for the construction of roads, excavation and demolition works. The company has a varied range of earth moving machinery capable of performing both small and large scale earth works.

Our machinery are serviced and maintained by qualified and experienced workforce, thereby reducing wear and tear, avoiding accidents and saving both time and costs. We back breakdowns with a replacement machine to deliver within deadlines.

The rock is a fine to medium grained pink massive granite with a grain size ranging between 2mm to 10mm. the value of the rock was tested and certified by geologists and certified by the ministry of Works Housing and construction.
