transportation programs frees up sufficient resources to substantially improve overall public transportation service delivery.
In a comparison of the cost and efficiency of transportation services before and after coordination, a study by the Community Transportation Association of America presented case studies from five states that showed average reductions of 50 percent in passenger-trip costs and 28 percent in vehicle-hour costs after coordination activities were implemented.”
