St. Matthias Choir consisting of 32 members, the Sri Lanka Navy Brass band and officer cadets from the Cinec Maritime Campus will add colour and grace to this ceremonial service to invoke blessings on all Seafarers around the world. Musaeus founder remembered The 89th death anniversary of the founder of Musaeus College, Ms. Marie Musaeus Higgins will be commemo- rated on July 9, 10 at the College audi- torium. An all-night pirith pinkama will be held on July 9, followed by a Sanghika dana for the Maha Sangha, to mark the occasion. Workshop on Book Binding and Finishing The Sri Lanka Institute of Printing (SLIOP) will hold a free workshop on Book Binding and Finishing on July 15 from 8.30 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. at the Sri Lanka Institute of Printing. The workshop has been organised to mark the World Skills Day on July 15. Sea Sunday Service The Mission to Seafarers in Sri Lanka

Colombo, will celebrate the internation-al Sea Service at St. Peter’s Church at Fort, Colombo on July 12 at 10.30 a.m. Officers and Ratings from the Army, Navy, Air Force and Police, foreign dip-lomats, invitees and parishioners will be present.
