Evaluate State-of-the-Science of the efficacy of commonly used satellite aerosol products.1.Assess literature on satellite remote sensing of

aerosols and application to the science community.

2.Identify gaps and key stumbling blocks in the use of such data.

3.Based on 1) and 2), conduct key experiments and studies to clarify product efficacy.

4.Make recommendations on programmatic and developers level to improve product quality and applicability.

GAAP Reports

In the first report, provide a broad overview of available and a thorough literature review of past work.

Identify key milestones and areas of concern and provide recommendations for the scientific community and further investigation.

In subsequent reports, provide independent evaluation of baseline and aggregated products.
