Directions:

1. Paint edges of coasters black. Set aside todry. (If using black coasters skip this step.)

2. Cut a 334 square from Society Page(B-side), round the corners and adhere to

coaster with Mod Podge and foam brush/paintbrush. Cut the 3 x 4 HELLO cut apart from Telegram. Cut off quote and savefor later. Round corners of Lady Libertyimage and adhere centered onto previouslayer. Adhere Lets Have a Conversationtab sticker to bottom right of coaster.

3. With anothercoaster, cut a

334 square fromTypography(B-side), roundcorners and adhereto coaster. Cut the4" x 6" C cut apartfrom Telegram.Cut a 314 squarearound the C inthe center, roundthe corners andadhere to center of

previous layer. From the Communiquesticker tag, cuta rectangle around Communique and adhere to lower

right corner or coaster.

4. With thirdcoaster, cut a 334square from AFine Specimen andadhere to coaster.Cut a 314 squarefrom Telegramusing the reverseside. Cut fromthe bottom leftside when lookingat (B-side) (You

want to avoid anyof the 3 x 4 cuta parts.) Adherecentered onto coaster. From Communique, fussy cutlady with lm strip and adhere to right side of second

layer. From sticker sheet, get the No. 45 sticker anadhere to top left corner of second layer.

5. FromPhotogenic, cuta 334 squarearound the ladysitting down nextto large camera

lens (see picture),and adhere to 4thcoaster. From thesticker sheet, placethe Photographssticker to top rightcorner.

6. Cut a 478 x118 and 4 x

4 Typography(B-side) andset aside. Cuta 478 squarefrom samepaper andadhere to topof Mixed MediaBox. Cut a 478x 2 piece fromthe same paperand adhere to spine of box. Attach chipboard piece

with Eiffel Tower stamp on center of spine.

7. Usingthe 478 x118 piecefrom step6, centerdrawer pulland markthe holes.Pierce the

markings to create hole and attach door pull withbrads. Attach piece to lid ap.

8. From Societypage on the reverseside, cut a 412square and adhereto the top of the

box, centering itover the rst layer.

9. Using the 4 x 4Typographypiece

from step 6. Usinga paper trimmer orcraft knife, cut 3sides to a rectangle1 in from edges(dotted lines indiagram). One side

is 2 and the othertwo facing sides

measure 212.For the fourthside, score it 12in to connect therectangle (in red).Score again 1away from the rst

score line. Scoreagain 1 from that(in blue).

10. Your insiderectangle is now a

ap. Fold the ap

like an accordionby folding the ap

up at the 12 scoreline, down at thenext score line andup again at thenext one.

11. Take a Graphic45 ATC tag in blackand adhere it tothe backside ofour ap only at the

very bottom 12piece segment ofthe ap. Make sure

it is centered fromside to side andthat the bottomedge of the ap and

the bottom edge of the tag are ush.

12. Place the wholetag slider piecein the center of

the box top withthe ATC tag at thetop and pull thetag out to test ourslider. Leave up.Do not glue, yet.

13. Find the Helloquote from the 3"

x 4" cut out fromstep 2 and placeit under the sliderto center it underthe opening thatis created frompulling the tag.Glue the quote inplace once you aresatised with its

position under theslider.

14. Flip the slider

piece over and addglue to the designpaper. Keep a 18

border of no gluearound the tag toensure that gluedoes not get on thetag. Adhere thepiece to the top ofthe box. Pull upthe tag to ensurethe window is stillnicely centered over the quote. (Your tag may catchon the quote piece to work as a stopper to hold your

pop-up raised. To close the window without it catching,angle the tag slightly as you slide it closed.)

15. Cut the threeremaining 3 x 4cut a parts fromTelegram: A goodsnapshot..., thecamera image andCommunique.

Arrange them atangles on top ofeach other witheach one slightly

higher than theone below. Testhow they look

on the box. Add foam adhesive to adhere the piecestogether keeping the lower third free of adhesive. Curlup the top left corner of each piece to add dimension.

16. Add foamadhesive to the1 section on theslider that faces

you when pulledup. Add a doublelayer to the bottomhalf.

17. While the slider isat, adhere the 3 x4 cut a parts to thefoam adhesive on theslider, gently, in case

you need to repositionit. Open the slider andtest that is shows thequote when open. Youcan angle the slidertag when open to showoff the quote, as well.

18. Secure blackseam bindingthrough the hole

of the telephonechipboard piece andadhere chipboardpiece to the bottomright corner usingfoam adhesive onthe bottom half andright half so as notto interfere withthe sliding piecesfrom tucking underit when closed. Adhere the

vintage glasses chipboard tothe top left corner makingsure its placement does notinterfere with the slidingmechanism.

19. From Communique, fussycut a pen out from the lowerleft side. Use foam adhesiveto adhere it at an angle to thetop 3 x 4 cut a part. From

Photogenic, cut out the lm strip with the 4, 5, and 6.

Gently bend to add dimension and adhere to box lid,

tucking the bottom of the strip behind the telephonechipboard piece.

20. From ShutterSpeed(B-side),cut 3 pieces thatmeasure 434 x134 and adhere tothe front and sidesof your box.

21. From On theDot, cut four piecesat 434 x 134 andtwo pieces at 434x 434. Adhere the134 pieces to insideof box. Adheresquare pieces tothe inside top and

bottom of the box.

22. Glue the spine of thebox cover to the backof the box using wetadhesive or other strongglue (like E6000).

23. Gently turnbox over andglue Claw Feet to

bottom corners ofbox using strongadhesive(E6000).
