"Brimming with passion and conviction... this is essential reading for anyone interested in interfaith dialog" – Booklist

May will bring us together to talk about faith, and we are excited to use The Faith Club, AMuslim, A Christian, A Jew—Three Women Search for Understanding, by Ranya Idliby,Suzanne Oliver and Priscilla Warner as our starting point. It is the story of three motherswho got together to write a picture book for their children that would highlight the connec-tions between their religions. They discovered in the process that they held misunderstand-ings regarding each others' faith traditions—this began their journey of discovery anddiscussion. Their book has inspired the formation of Faith Clubs around the country—and wecan learn much from our struggles to have open dialog (about ourselves and about others!)Our invitation is open to all women at St. Luke's—we will meet on Monday, May 18 from 7-8:30PM in Kent Millard's office. For more information, please contact Jennifer Todd [email protected].
