Cedarwood’s Buy a Brick campaign Cedarwood’s be a permanent part of Cedarwood’s history by purchasing 250, 500 or more bricks! In return, you will receive a commemorative brick displaying your child’s name in the building. Each brick costs R10, which includes the cost of laying the brick. This is a unique and special way to honour your child in a lasting and memorable way. 1. Background To raise funds for more classrooms to be built at the school, a “Buy‐a‐Brick" campaign has started at Cedarwood School. We are approaching Parents, Teachers, Corporates, and the public who are willing to donate a certain amount in return for the knowledge of having contributed tangibly towards the upgrade and expansion of this special school. They will also be afforded the option of purchasing engraved, and labelled (with a plaque) bricks, with their personal name, date and message, which will be built into the Resource Centre/ other designated area of the new building. All money contributed will be eligible for a Tax deduction by SARS. 2. Approach “Brixy” is our mascot and is an original design. He will be the face of the campaign. The message we are trying to convey is the following: You are contributing to a unique school with unique children; You will get recognition and be leaving a legacy through your participation; and if your child was previously, or is currently a scholar at the school, then it’s your way of giving back to the school. 3. Brick Products and Pricing – Bricks are valued at R10 each. If you “buy” more than 250 bricks, then you will get a free engraved brick. If you buy more than 500 bricks then you will receive a brick with a brass plaque with your details engraved into the plaque. Banking Details: Account name: Cedarwood School Bank: Nedbank Epson Downs Account number: 1522085882 Branch code: 152205 Please contact the Cedarwood admin department on 011 465 9830 should have any further queries.
